The Sarinbauna Eco Lodge is a hidden gem in Bali. Located far from the any towns, the lodge offers a peaceful setting. to relax and embrace the heart of Bali. Built using sustainable materials and in keeping with the environment, each cottage is cozy and comfortable. Food is locally grown and prepared with perfection. The staff could not have been more engaging and welcoming. They helped us arrange several guided day tours.

One of the most special places I've ever stayed. From the warm welcome by Khrisna when I arrived to the last goodbye, I enjoyed every day spent at Tepi Sawah. You can feel the genuine kindness and care of everyone there and learn so much about the culture and traditions through the local people and their stories. I really liked the jungle trekking with guide De Galih. Beyond the beautiful route itself, Galih has so much knowledge about the forest, plants, and local history that the walk becomes something truly special. I also loved the day trip to Jatiluwih rice fields with Kabi, the massage with therapist Iluh (who is simply the sweetest), and the cooking class with Anggi and Candra which gave such a memorable insight into the love and dedication that goes into the traditional meals served every day. It is a place where doing "nothing" feels just as special as exploring around, so it is worth leaving space to simply enjoy nature, read a book in a hammock, listen to the sound of the rain or look for fireflies after dark. Suksma for such a warm welcome! You all will have a special place in my heart.

Beautiful rooms in an impeccable garden in a jungly, mountainous part of Bali, one of the least touristy areas we’ve seen. They can take you for a walk through rice fields, and they have a small nature walk set up. You can also go for walks along the road, though there is no sidewalk. Really, there’s nothing negative to say – the place is beautiful. Be aware – if you’re there in rainy season, there really isn’t any food available within walking distance except at the hotel itself. That’s fine – they make wonderful food – but if you were hoping for variety, you won’t be able to get to anything else on foot.

This is in the most beautiful location I've ever seen in Bali. I first went to Bali in 1978 when there was only one hotel. This reminded me of that time. The real Bali. Beautiful beautiful forest and mountain views. I was really in need of a rest and it was perfect. I had 3 massages in the week I was there. Food was great but the special sauce was the gorgeous staff Ayu, Tiara and Devi as well as the driver Komang. Friendly and always helpful. I miss them I received a complimentary upgrade. The cottages are HUGE with beautiful, authentic Balinese sculptured doorways and furniture.
