It was excellent. I think you can introduce more of Himachali dishes in your breakfast. Bhandari savoured us with excellent matar puries veggies and loads of his life stories. The music was excellent. I danced my heart out with my loved ones. Thank you Gitesh and each n every member.

The best thing about the hotel is the location - it is nestled in a forest and is quiet and "out of the way." The hot tub is by far my favorite place in the hotel. You can sit in the outdoor hot tub with steam coming off the water while looking out over snowy forest and mountain views. It was breathtaking! The pool area is lovely as well, and the staff are incredible....almost too helpful. The breakfast was amazing every day and in such a gorgeous setting as well. There were yoga activities and kids activities during the day, and I enjoyed reading in the quiet lounges along the side of the hotel. I had a wonderful experience traveling around Shimla and Narkana and the surrounding areas - all set up by the helpful hotel concierge/staff. It was a heavenly vacation away from the bustle during Chinese New Year.

Staff were extremely courteous. Probably the best model of customer service one can ask for. Not a time goes by when the staff are not attending to your every need. This type of service and values this hotel upkeep is beyond excellence. Our kids had great fun at the activity Centre and interacting with the hotel staff. We adults had a great time with the ambience and even warmer courtesy extended by the staff in every aspect of our stay.

Mahasu House is like a piece of heaven come down in Mashobra. We travelled in the end of December 2024 and were delighted to find the property covered in snow which made it look even more beautiful. The staff and owner were very kind and helpful even arranging a pickup for us from the last 200 meters where the snow was thicker while guests of other hotels nearby had to walk down. The rooms were very tastefully decorated and spacious and it felt like a home away from home. The living and dining rooms were something you’d see in a postcard. There are heaters in every room and the beds are nice and comfortable. The staff was extremely polite and generous and we did not hear the word ‘No’ during our stay. Every request we had, from bonfires to food for our dog, were fulfilled with a smile. The food was delicious and we couldn’t eat enough. The loveliest part was the way staff would check on the next meal menu and ask for any special requests and their hospitality was unparalleled. They also helped us booking cabs to visit nearby attractions. We also met the owner again and his lovely wife on Christmas and they were kind, helpful and so friendly. Their welcoming personalities are reflected in their property as well and we will always remember our time spent here. We had the most wonderful time for the three nights we were at Mahasu house and every future hotel we stay at will be compared unfavourably to Mahasu House.

The service was excellent from check in to check out. Special mention must be mentioned of Executive Chef Amit Dogra and his team for preparing special meals for my wife keeping in mind her allergies and also Mr Bhupesh at reception.

Loved everything. The staff was so courteous, helpful and friendly. It was my husband's birthday so without me asking them to get a cake they got one. The food is amazing! The breakfast and pizzas we ordered via room service were yummy. The place is serene and a perfect getaway for couples.
