It is a converted palace and the ruins can still be seen through the glass dining room floor plus other features throughout the hotel. There are Roman baths and a wonderful spa also. The rooms are a good size and very comfortable. The lounge area has an amazing ceiling. The breakfast and dinner were excellent too. The property is very quiet and in walking distance to all the sights and restaurants. Swimming pool in a shaded garden also.
