Located in Otari and with Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area reachable within 2.3 km, 椛 Momiji features ski-to-door access, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a garden. We had a wonderful stay at Momiji - everything was perfect and lived up to the reviews! Staff were very helpful, friendly and the food was amazing. Would highly recommend and hope to be back!

Without a doubt, this is the best spot to stay in Hakuba. The room was fantastic. I stay at about 20 hotels every year around the world and this is the first hotel I’ve stopped to write a review since the service was so fantastic. We stayed here for 4 days skiing around the local area. I would 100% recommend this place to family and friends!

Offering rooms with a yukata robe, green tea and mountain views, Hotel Ougiya is 5 minutes from Hakuba Happo-One Ski Field on the free shuttle. I enjoyed so much the stay, the breakfast and the onsen particularly and the staff super nice!

Hakuba Mominoki Hotel is located between snow peaks in Hakuba Valley, a 5-minute drive from Hakuba Station. The 4-star hotel offers an outdoor natural hot-spring bath, free Wi-Fi and 3 restaurants. The grounds of the property are gorgeous, lots of trees. The rooms are good sized and comfortable. Lots of options on the breakfast. I love the kimonos the leave for us to use. The staff speak English very well which is always helpful

Rooms are a little outdated but well kept, bathrooms are private (huge plus over shared options around the area, good soaking tub), good ski in/out access to Happo one report (right next to Shirakaba 2 lift, can ski downhill a bit to reach Gondola), decent public bath with hot dry sauna. Very friendly staff.
