Everything was perfect: - location is in the very center of the town, 12min walk from train station - employees at reception are very nice and helpful - rooms are clean and cute, as always with Onyado Nono hotels - very good onsen : several hot springs baths, and even 4 private baths onsen rooms - there are available sets of yukata to wear in the hotel - welcome drinks and juices in the lobby are pleasant , as well as free ice creams, yakult and evening ramen - breakfast was excellent and the staff made the effort to change my menu for the 2nd morning (note : there is no western breakfast but this is not an issue for me) - dinner was excellent, the employee did her best to explain the English menu, it was very clear

Set in Takamatsu, 12 km from Sunport Takamatsu, THE CHELSEA BREATH offers accommodation with a restaurant, free private parking, a shared lounge and a garden. A wonderful amazing hotel. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The setting is overwhelming! Why only 3 stars, the hotel deserves 5.

Located in Kasuga, 26 km from Takamatsu, Asan Kotonami features a terrace and views of the mountain. The ryokan has a hot spring bath and sauna, and guests can enjoy a meal at the restaurant. This is our second visit. We visited once right before COVID and we were so impressed by the atmosphere, service and food. This time was just as amazing. Staff were really friendly and we would like to thank Ms Tsubame Haruta for her help and kindness. Truly made our stay special.

A 15-minute walk from JR Kotohira Station, Kotohira Kadan offers natural hot spring baths and spacious Japanese-style rooms, some with a private outdoor hot spring bath. Stunning property, with spacious, clean rooms that were well-equipped. We loved our outdoor bath and the view of the town from our room. Great location - a short walk to Konpira Grand Theatre and the main shrine in Kotohira, Konpira-san. Both are a must-visit. Tasty, traditional Japanese-style breakfast. We would love to return.
