Fantastic view on the ocean (room 112), one of the best we have ever seen. Very hospitable personnel , rooms were clean, cool natural swimming pools.

An easy walk through the town and to the waterfront. The meals were excellent. For breakfast you can have the buffet or order cooked items from a menu, or both. The dinner menu is outstanding with a wide range of options for fish, meat, and vegetarian, and everything we had was delicious. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Our room had a small balcony with a view overlooking the ocean. The bed was comfortable, and the firm pillows we requested were perfect.

The hotel Atrio is a small family run rural hotel located on the sunny south side of Madeira Island. We really enjoyed our time at Atrio Hotel. The garden is peaceful and beautifully kept, and the ocean view from our room was a highlight. The staff were welcoming and attentive, and breakfast was fresh and tasty. We’d happily return.

Offering an outdoor pool and spa centre, Castanheiro Boutique Hotel is set in Funchal, 500 metres from Marina do Funchal. The location is great and the hotel is very nice. Amazing breakfast, perfect with the rooftop pool and bar with very nice views of Funchal and the ocean. Also great with the Spa. I had a big and comfortable room with a kitchenette.
