Set in the heart of the Northern Drakensberg, Cavern Resort & Spa provides family-friendly accommodation located 65 km from Harrismith and 48 km from Bergville. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. What a perfect vacation. The other guests were friendly and the whole atmosphere is like a family. Would 100% go back and bring friends and family.

Riverbend Chalets (Gold Crown Resort) is set within the scenic Drakensberg Garden and boasts views of lush landscapes and the majestic Drakensberg Mountain Range. I love the fact that there is games inside the facility. And karaoke night was very entertaining and we very much enjoyed ourselves

Montusi Mountain Lodge offers a bar and is located 44 km from Bergville. Guests receive free Wi-Fi access, a children's playground and a swimming pool. Our stay at Montusi was simply wonderful. The rooms were beautiful, spacious and clean and the view of the Drakensbergen and specifically the “amphitheatre”was incredible. Staff was helpful, kind and the food was delicious and fresh. We would highly recommend staying here a few days and joining for one of the many guided hikes!

This guest house offers award-winning cuisine in the tranquil setting of KwaZulu Natal’s Drakensberg Mountains, right on the border of Giants Castle Nature Reserve. - Caster and Buhle were excellent hosts and went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and looked after during my stay - I ended up staying ten days and had booked a room with separate lounge area which was a winner. Suggest that option for longer stays. - Fire in my room during turndown service - The food was fantastic - I loved the views and time on the deck with a cup of coffee was just what the dr ordered - Tumi, the cat was adorable - The housekeepers are thorough and they even put my pjs in my bed so electric blanket would warm them! - Spa treatments with Buhle was relaxing and highlight of my afternoon - The owner (Mouse) took some time to catch up and listened to my feedback - Amen, the gardener was so friendly and always made time for a hello and chat.

The food was more than one could ask for and delicious. The view was spectacular. I loved everything about this place. We should have stayed 2 weeks instead. Lovely place.
