Located just a few steps from the beach, Hotel Marina offers accommodation in Monterosso al Mare, in the Cinque Terre National Park. The staff was very kind and even greeted us around town, the room was very well kept and clean and most importantly very homey. We felt right at home! The breakfast was also excellent, with a small buffet of cakes and desserts and a menu of various dishes, both savory and sweet, all very well-made and in generous amounts. Breakfast was also served in a truly wonderful terrace full of lemon trees which made the experience even more beautiful. The free beach was also a 5-minute walk away and we could always find a space for two towels in the afternoon, which meant that when coming back from exploring the other places we could always put on our swimming suits and go snorkeling (very recommended since the water is crystal clear and full of small fish). We could also borrow their beach towels which was very useful. The way from the train station was a bit uphill (although the whole town is full of ups and downs) but overall pretty quick and full of restaurants and souvenir shops which can come in very handy. We definitely recommend the affiliated restaurant "Da Eraldo" for some good quality fish and seafood and "L'Osteria" for some good local food; the staff of both of these was also very friendly and very willing to make some small talk. We also recommend the trekking trail "Sentiero Azzurro" but be aware that there are some pretty long uphill stairways so start early in the morning if you're planning to go there in summer. Overall our stay was wonderful and there were no complications, truly a wonderful place to spend a couple of days!

Just 100 metres from Fegina Beach, Hotel Villa Adriana is set among palm trees. It offers a Ligurian restaurant, a pool, and classically furnished rooms with an LCD TV. Perfect as always. Excellent breakfast, clean, comfortable rooms, and all those little touches you won't find in other hotels of this category. Free parking, very attentive staff, drinking water dispensers, a sparkling clean private pool, and a private little chapel in the perfectly maintained grounds. A gorgeous garden, grotto, etc. etc.

Offering panoramic views of the Cinque Terre coastline, Albergo Suisse runs a free scheduled shuttle service to Monterosso, 1 km away. All air-conditioned rooms come with satellite TV. Parking is... Great place , can’t believe it’s only 3* It’s one of those hotels high up and overlooking everything that makes you wonder what it’s like to stay there , and I can tell you it was great ! Free shuttle bus to deal with the hill down to town and back up ! I’d read somewhere that breakfast was only a croissant/cake affair , well it’s not , it’s a comprehensive hot and cold buffet that is most enjoyable .

Residence Dei Due Porti is located in Sanremo city centre, and offers a sun terrace with views of the Ligurian Sea. Excellent stay! Perfect location — beachfront and right in the city center. Daily room cleaning, fresh towels, linen changed every few days. Reception staff very kind and helpful. Highly recommended!

It was a really nice experience! The shower was amazing, good pressure and hot (is usually rare). Also the bed had a good firm matress, we slept very well. The Breakfast was a buffet and had a good selection of sweet and savory foods, my kids (3 and 7) found everything they liked. there is a coffee/cappucino machine ready to use. The staff was friendly and helpful. In the lobby you can get a drink or a coffee.
