Villas in Koúmoi

Great view and very comfortable place! We highly recommend it. We really enjoyed our stay. The host was very friendly and thoughtful - bringing us fresh fruits and letting us check in early.

So clean, so beautifly renovated, all the little things you need in the kitchen and bathroom, and the location was perfect👌

בית מודרני יפה ומרווח. מצוייד בהכול. בלב מטע זיתים. משקיף.על נוף ים. קרוב לחופים ומסעדות. לאוהבי השקט והפרטיות. בית עם אוירה של חופש.

Our stay at this villa was absolutely unforgettable. Perched perfectly to offer stunning views, the villa was a blend of modern comfort and Cretan charm. The rooms were spotless and spacious, with cozy beds and thoughtful decor. The fully equipped kitchen made it easy to prepare meals, which we enjoyed on the terrace while soaking in breathtaking sunsets. The infinity pool was a true highlight—crystal clear and surrounded by serene views, it felt like our own private oasis. The host’s warm hospitality made our experience even better, with great local recommendations. This villa is a perfect base for exploring the island, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended for anyone seeking luxury and relaxation in Crete!

The property was stunning but the host was even more exceptional. Our flight was delayed and we expected to arrive at HER after midnight. During our layover to Crete, we discovered that our rental car reservation was inadvertently cancelled. I was in touch with the host (who was already willing to accommodate our late arrival by meeting us on property after midnight) who offered to call rental companies on our behalf to see if he could secure a new reservation for us. When that didn't happen and our flight was about to take off, he offered to pick us up from the airport himself! Little did we realize that the airport was an hour+ away from the property (something to keep in mind but it didn't matter to us because the property is central to other areas on the island that we visited). We couldn't believe how thoughtful and kind he was to pick us up so late in the night! On top of that, the next morning, he drove us to Rethymno for us to get a rental car. Just unbelievable! Even if that hadn't happened, we would definitely recommend this property. We rented the Superior Villa but all are so beautiful. The kitchen was totally equipped with more than we needed, the interior was beautifully decorated, the A/C and fans worked well, the washer was convenient, the beds comfortable, and the outdoor showers were an added bonus. The exterior space is like out of a magazine. The views were breathtaking and peaceful, the pool was modern, and the outdoor patio area was comfortable and private. The whole stay felt indulgent and upscale. On top of that, we were welcomed with a fruit basket, bottle of wine, and during our stay, we even received a delicious homemade bundt cake. The host also developed a digital visitor's guide that had great recommendations. Do not hesitate to book this property. Since it is tucked away in the hills, you will need a car and allot for time to get to places. But trust me, the views, property, and hospitality are worth it!

We spent a superb time!! Villa Marielia was truly amazing and the grounds were stunning. The pool and surrounding area were lovely with fabulous views. We do not hesitate to recommend this amazing villa to anyone as we had the best holiday ever!

Everything. Konstantinos was a great host. He was available all the time. He made for us icecream surprise. The house was fully equiped. The pool was great but 1,60 m. depth. The house was 25 min distance frim Rethimno and 25 min from South beaches incl Preveli.

Location was great. On one hand in a very quiet and secluded area in lower mountains, with beautiful views and garden. And on other hand minutes away from the main road connecting north and south rethymno, so you can decide which way you wanna go, also depending on weather etc. Our favourite beach were Episkopi on the north and Souda on the south. Also a nearby town has a great bakery and shops with all you may need. Villa is just great, very comfortable and spacious with extremely high ceiling and large windows which give you a great feeling of space and freedom, in terms of equipment everything you need is there. Around the house is a garden with beautiful pine trees, which you can enjoy from the large terraces. It is a very comfortable and inspiring place. If I were a writer I would choose this place for writing my book :) If possible, next year I want to spend the whole summer there :) Communication with Lina was perfect. We spent there 8 nights.

This is by far one of the best stays in Crete (it's our third trip in four years). Wonderful house, jacuzzi, all necessary amenities, three bathrooms, an absolute gem! The village is also interesting and authentic, and close to best beaches of Plakias region. Rethymno is also quite close, for a more city vibe

The first place to stay on our Crete holiday. Horizon villa is located about 15 minutes drive from Rethymno in a smaller and very quiet village and it offered a nice escape from the tourist hustle and bustle in the evenings. The private pool offered a chance to cool off in the evenings, even after swimming in the Mediterranean Sea. The garden was full of various, exotic fruit trees - pomegranate, olive, fig, lemon, orange, some cacti 🌵, but also regular apple trees. The interior of the house was not very modern but completely sufficient for such a 3-night stay. There were enough sleeping places for our family of 5, but there was no such thing as a proper sofa for watching TV late at night. We also got to experience a bit of extreme - the electricity went out for about 45 minutes one evening. Since it gets really dark from 8:00 PM, we had the feeling that we need to go to a gas station somewhere to buy candles. 😃
