Villas in Pezá

Beautiful villa. Amazingly designed. Includes everything you need. Located in a peaceful village 20 minutes from Heraklion

Dimitra and Leftheris , the owners, are kind and generous. Fulfilled all our requests

We honestly cannot find any words to suitably describe our wonderful stay at the Argyope Villa. Our hosts, Ioanna and Michalis are the kindest and most generous ones, we have ever come across. Upon arrival , we were greeted as if we were old acquaintances, visiting after a long time. Such warmth and kindness from people that genuinely embody the archetype of the Cretan hospitality in all forms. The house itself is an old family country house, fully redesigned, renovated and rebuilt by themselves, making it a lovely and cosy, fully functional space, to satisfy any traveller's needs, whether they are a family, a couple or a small group of friends. The location is ideal as it is nested in the traditional village of Katalagari, just 20 minutes away from Heraklion city, a few kilometers away from major sights such as Knossos and within 3 minutes from Archanes -an agricultural town with a long history of 5000 years dating back to the Minoan times, with numerous places of interest, taverns, cafes and supermarkets-. It has fully equipped, spacious kitchen and sitting room area, 2 bedrooms with the most comfortable mattresses we have ever slept on, a fantastic 5x2m² pool with an extra outdoor shower, and its orientation allows you to open the windows and let the cool breeze come in, without needing to rely on the a/c if you do not want to. Upon departure, it was us that felt that we were greeting old friends. All in all, we couldn't have been any happier with our choice for our vacations as a family and we truly long to book our next stay there! Ioanna and Michalis, thank you and your awesome family for crafting a wonderful stay for us! We will surely be back!

The house and the yard are big. Quiet as well. Lovely trees in the garden. Not far from airport. Air con in every room. Good value as well. The owner was lovely. We had a small delay and he contacted us to make sure all ok. We arrived late so we could not meet him. He left some treats and water in the fridge for us which was lovely .

Absolutely beautiful. Our own private swimming pool, each bedroom has its own bathroom, great kitchen/dining/living room with floor to ceiling windows and multiple exits. Good parking. Very friendly and helpful staff. Our added photos do not do it justice.

Charming old house, nicely renovated respecting the heritage.

Everything and the village was wonderful

Very nice restored house in a great location in the town

George and Sofia are fantastic hosts and made us feel so welcome and comfortable at their resort. The property is gorgeous, peaceful, and surrounded by olive groves and incredible views. The villas are spacious, modern, comfortable, and have many amenities. Sofia is a wonderful cook and made a delicious breakfast and dinner for us during our stay. It was truly a wonderful experience to stay here and we would absolutely stay again.
