The location of the house was amazing, it was a refuge for us, a serene place where the only noises you could hear were the birds chirping and the river burbling. There are several great tourist trails that start right in the village. Also, be prepared for some curvy and narrow roads when driving in the surrounding areas. The house was exactly as described and in the pictures; equipment was more than sufficient, parking was right by the house (there is a very narrow street leading to it). Ricardo was nice enough to heat up the house before our arrival, it was necessary to heat it up from time to time during the stay as well. We were also welcomed by a nice gift (tea, coffee for the coffee machine, some crakers and amazing local white sparkling wine). The house is nicely renovated and has a really warm and homelike feel to it. The water pressure in the showerhead was great and it was hot (yay)! Bedrooms are small but provide all you need. The fireplace was great especially during colder evenings. Overall an amazing stay for us!

We really enjoyed staying in the mountain village. Peace and quiet with the local cows as company. Lots of birds and wildlife around. The house is in a good location overlooking the village with mountain views. The owner Sophia is very welcoming and generous leaving a cake and fruit and vegetables from her garden. The apartment was spacious. The bedroom was upstairs and had a half bath upstairs. The full bath downstairs had a good shower. The owner drove us along with our luggage up to the apartment since parking was outside the residential area. The kitchen was well equipped with comfortable dining.

The location is far from everything and has bad network connectivity, but is awesome. You can see the wandering horses and cows, how the sheppards call them in the evening. You experience the absolute silence, and the sparkling night sky.
