Amazing three-story villa above Lake Gregory, a short walk from the center, but in a quiet area, surrounded by a tea plantation. The host is a very nice gentleman who speaks excellent English and will give you tips on good restaurants in town, recommend trips and prepare a delicious breakfast. I definitely highly recommend.

He gave us many advices regarding sightseeing, restauratns and shops. Delicious breakfast on the terrace with a beautiful view. Lot of space, calm and tranquil surrounding. We could vist the House again.

Hilldale is a high-quality hospitality experience filled with genuine warmth and attention. The comfortable, spacious rooms offered the best view we had during our trip through Sri Lanka. The sauna is a wonderfully relaxing place, and we absolutely loved the infinity swimming pool. Every morning the breakfast was delicious, fresh, and healthy. We enjoyed the food, and we truly loved the cocktails! Hilldale Retreat gave us a true retreat feeling — we left feeling more relaxed than when we arrived. Thank you so much, dear team. You truly gave us the ultimate holiday feeling.

We didn’t realise at first but Gregory Lake is just walking distance from the place. Commuting from Gregory bridge is recommended for future travelers if they want to save a few bucks from transportation. Otherwise, the staff was super friendly, the house, the view is splendid. Would 100% visit again.

Located in the beautiful Nuwara Eliya Hills, boutique hotel Langdale by Amaya offers luxury rooms with amazing hillside views. It features an outdoor pool, a restaurant and free Wi-Fi. The location could not be more perfect. A gorgeous cottage right in the middle tea fields, you could not ask for a better way to experience the Nuwara Eliya/ Nanu Oya hill country. The staff were exceptional in theory professionalism and friendliness. The fppd was exquisite. And the view will be forever seared into my memory as what heaven might look like. If you manage to pull yourself away from the delights of the cottage, the Somerset Tea Factory tour was absolutely exceptional. My friend had already been on a tea factory tour and for me the trip was really perfunctory (when in Rome) but it was absolutely fascinating, I learned so much. I could not recommend it more. A top tea-er experience!!
