My fiancee and I stayed here just for one night. The owners are very polite and so sweet. The room were very clean, they've been updated so it looks very nice. Did little decorations for the bathroom towels which was very cute! The a/c in the room worked very well! And the motel was not too far from town, short drive. Great experience over all.

This place is so much fun! We had a wonderful time fishing off the large concrete dock. I almost caught a 5-pound largemouth bass—I saw it leap off the dock and disappear right in front of me! The sunsets were stunning, and at night the stars were incredibly bright. The Big Dipper was shining right above my head. It was so quiet at nights — I actually woke up to the sound of loons calling and birds chirping every morning. Every family had their own private BBQ, and we didn’t need to bring firewood or propane tanks—everything was included in the price. And best of all? This was by far the best value I've found in the area. We'll definitely be coming back!

Audrey and Bogey have created a truly beautiful and unique sanctuary. The inside is like a museum, filled with so many interesting statues, paintings and artifacts. An endless treasure trove of curiosities. The garden is a mirror to the inside, like a Chinese cup garden, with beautiful meditative areas throughout. Whoever comes to Shambhala is in for a treat.
