The location was great, and definitely a much nicer hotel with amenities, than others on the same road/and within the town of Pembroke. The staff were outstanding from the moment I walked in, super friendly and so helpful. I was alone with luggage and offered help by female staff to bring it up to my room, as the dollies were all taken up. Super clean! I had guests over and they were raving about how beautiful it was. I showed the hotel receptionist my reservation on Booking.com and she raised her eyes, and told me it would have been much more money if I had booked directly with her. I got a sweet deal with Booking.com and I knew it. No one could have matched the incredible offer I got for 3 nights at Quality Inn with the King Size bed, and it was a suite which I had no idea. I was blown away. The Continental Breakfast was very decent too with warm omelettes (no toppings, but still very good), waffle batter, fresh fruit, etc. I've stayed at a Quality Inn at the U.S. and also super clean and gorgeous hotel. They put effort at Quality Inn in Pembroke, Ontario with the beautiful floors, and high end decor too throughout the hotel - in my opinion. Very impressed, from all the hotels I've ever attended, love Quality Inn and their staff too :)) You will not be disappointed.

Filthy exterior with cigarette butts everywhere. Awful smells throughout the building. Barking dogs early in the morning. Shower that had high pitch squealing noise. Person at the desk seemed bothered when I asked him to show me how to get in the building. Parking was awkward as we were told to cram our motorcycles in a corner behind another vehicle. Every wall surface, ceiling, trim, corners of the rooms were dirty. There was a big hole in the wall in the closet with tissue stuffed in it. Nail sticking out of doorway of the closet. Unfinished spackle on the back of the bathroom door. Very outdated fixtures. The linens were clean enough, but everything else including the bottom of the bathtub was dirty looking. The fridge defrosted overnight for no reason and our food and water was warm in the morning. Didn’t even bother with breakfast, there was no way I was going to trust food in that place. Overall disgusting experience. Will never stay there again and will absolutely tell people to avoid.
