The owners are super nice and helpful. They wreak havoc both working for many years as rangers on the rain forest reserve right by bird and breakfast so they are super knowledgeable about the area, animals and plants.

This property is RIGHT in nature. The room is cemented so not too many bugs inside but outside yes. The host was SO sweet and brought me bananas and limes from the property. She is really great and had amazing communication. Thank you!

We chose to stay a night here on our way to Monteverde to break up the long drive. It wasn't exactly on the way, but we did not want to drive the roads into Monteverde at night, and the pictures of this place seemed like it would be worth the stop. It was! The hotel and its grounds were peaceful and beautiful. We had a fantastic dinner, then were allowed to relax in their jacuzzi tub slightly after it was supposed to closed, as there were not many other guests and we promised to be quiet. Our rooms overlooking the pool were private, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Breakfast in the morning was also great.
