We had a wonderful time in Lofou and loved staying at Apokryfo Guesthouse. We had the Sterna house and it was unique stone house experience. It had a living and kitchen area as well as a bedroom and bathroom. The breakfasts were simple but delicious, done Cypriot style. We also had dinner twice there and both times it was excellent! The cooking was wonderful. The staff were kind and helpful and caring. This was a great location to tour around the mountainous areas of Cyprus from. Lofou is a quiet town this time of year. We had dinner at the Lofou Tavern one night and we were surprised how many people were there. Their food was also delicious. The moussaka was amazing! And we were serenaded by the owner as he played the bazouka and sang for us.

The cottage is huge - so much space. The owner was very kind and very helpful in his explanation of the cottage and village in general. Very quiet and tranquil village - you can escape the world in this place. We were honestly awe-struck at how amazing this cottage was and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone and everyone! It is a small apartment and has everything you need!! We even found table games in the yard which the guests could use!!! Beautiful traditional stone village! Great tavern nearby with local food, the lamb chops at Kamares tavern were delicious. Beautiful church nearby, it was nice to hear the church bells on the sunday and attend the service, very nice young priest that gave a great sermon.

Nice traditional village. I would recommend to visit it on Easter to experience the traditions of Cyprus. Loved the church and walking around the village. We saw the ILOVELOFOU sign and the school. Tried some pastries from the small bakery there. Loved it. You may stay 1 to 2 nights to enjoy every spot of the village and also have time to relax.

We loved the Taverna and very friendly owners of these family run apartments. Lofu is a beautiful mountain village very close and easily accessible for Limassol and up into Troodos. The trip from Latakia airport was very straight forward too.
It is a fascinating area of Cyprus full of history and the country side is breathtaking. All the local people we met were so helpful and friendly.
We would be delighted to visit Lofu and the area in the future and would recommend friends to take a holiday here.

Lofou is a very picturesque village with a long history. The pretty stone houses take you back in time. The taverns provide amazing tasty food and are value for money. Lofou, which is not too far away from the hustle and bustle of Limassol is an accessible retreat when you want to get away from it all for a few days.

I love Lofou and have stayed in the village for over 7 years now in various accommodation. This was our first time in Palazzino suites. The suite was done to a high speck and felt welcoming. It was beautifully decorated and not over the top. Furnishings and bed are very comfortable, excellent internet connection and a smart tv to connect to apps e.g. Netflix etc. The make it yourself breakfast was lovely and more than you need. Choice of wine or local beer & white or brown before you arrive I thought was a nice touch.
Honestly speaking it is nothing to make a bad comment. Everything was so perfect.
Owner of the property Chrysantos and his wife, are so kind, hospitable, helpful and nice people. The 140 years old house, but nicely renovated, with the decoration and set up just amazing.

Lofou village itself it’s perhaps one of the best old and traditional in Cyprus with many good options for food and coffee.
The hostess has provided us an exceptional experience throughout our stay in Folia Lofou! She advised us with the directions, responded very quickly in any of our enquries and made us felt comfortable during our stay! The accommodation itself has also exceeded our expectations.. was clean, warm, quiet, easy to access, and close to the center of the village Lofou. For sure, will be visiting soon!
The stone cottage is anchored by an enclosed patio that draws the visitor out for coffee in the morning and wine in the evening. Kristina and her lovely mom Elena met us and gave us the tour. They even prepared food for us and left the cottage well supplied. We had everything we needed. Lofou itself is our favorite village with a really good tavern and the best mezze ever in the hotel.
Everything was lovely. The apartment is well appointed with personal touches from the owners, who also went out of his way to show us the local tavern just down the road. It was delicious! The village is beautiful, the apartment is cozy and clean. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. My boys kept asking to go back to Lofou. Enjoyed by all in our family. Highly recommend!
It is a beautiful little studio with a nice size outdoor space with table and chairs. Lofou is a gorgeous traditional village with a wonderful wine bar and tavern. Everyone is friendly and welcoming. A perfect base to explore the mountains, wineries, and monasteries. It was a wonderfully peaceful and quiet retreat. Make sure to pick up some groceries on your way there,

The host is AMAZING - the refrigerator was full with fresh products, and at the kitchen were also breads, jams, home made cake and pastries. He took us to a 1.5 hour tour throughout the breathtaking brick roads of Lofou with explanations about the interesting history of the place
We really enjoyed staying in MyLofou. This place gives you amazing energy. The view on the mountain is surreal, there are many places to sit and enjoy this view with your loved ones.
Inside the house is very cozy and gives you a very peaceful feeling. There’s everything you might need and more.

The village of Lofou is very interesting indeed and offers good base for exploring Troodos area as well (it is just a short drive away). The staff running the studios and the taverna are extremely hospitable, welcoming, and friendly. Breakfast offering is very generous and the room was quite spacious.
Very clean, the most comfortable bed, beautiful hotel and surroundings. Design and quality of every detail were just perfect. Very quite. Nice breakfast full of homemade farmer food. There is a spa however we didn’t have an opportunity to try.
