Location was great! Didn't really have much contact with any staff; it operates much like an air bnb.....keys in lockbox. But the room and beds were comfortable and it was nice to be able to incorporate a third person without the need to secure an additional room.

I really liked the room and the exceptional friendliness of the staff. The beakfast is exceptional with everything your heart can possibly desire.
One Saturday night at 2 am was very noisy people and there was no one to contact to complain. One night out of 11, it still gets a great review. The downside is, you can not get coffee orr tea 24/7 and for travellers from overseas it may be bothersome.
All in all the hotel is great. The staff greats you so warm every morning I wish I would live there.

Kempten was so amazing.
Kempten was so amazing. My partner and I could've spent weeks doing different hikes and exploration around the place. We definitely recommend having a car to drive to the mountains. There was also a spa about 30 minutes from the place we stayed which was incredible. We would recommend at least a week!

We loved Kempten.
We loved Kempten. We were in town for a Professional American Football game. The Allgau Comets. The stadium is close enough to walk. The town is very friendly. There was an open air market in the square. Some places do not take American credit cards. Some do not take cash. Ask! The apartment was perfect. Although, our family is tall so the sloped ceilings caused some bruising. The clothes washer was very handy and soap was provided for three loads. It was super clean, well appointed, quiet, and close to everything. Parking was easy. Self-check-in was easy. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful.DonnaUnited States of America - 10Scored 10

Lovely small town, everything within Walking distance, plenty of good Restaurants,beerhalls and bars to choose from. great walkways along the river or out to the surrounding countryside within a few minutes drive.

Kempten is a wonderful city.
Kempten is a wonderful city. It is situated in the beautiful region of the Allgau. Very easy to go around, with great Restaurants, good shops, historic places and most important, friendly people. Kempten is also central to nice villages and amazing lakes and mountains this region can offer. Fussen, Oberstdor, Immenstadt, etc... are just 30/45 minutes drive from Kempten. It is a must visiting this place ... Paradise on earth.

Kempten is a quite large city and situated in the beautiful Allgäu region in Southern Bavaria, a region that is well worth a visit. Also Lake Constanz (Bodensee) with Austria and Switzerland is not that far away. Somewhat strange is that citybusses stop a bit early. The last one from the station to town centre at about 2030 hrs. There is however a line taxi service, but a minibus should be far better. Allthough our week card was accepted in the taxi.

Due to being a bit away from city center, the hotel has its own restaurant, which is great for dinners.

Parking is available in the underground parking garage of the hotel the apartments belong to (4.50 Euro per day but no in and out), or for free on the other side of the river "Iller" right before the Illerstadion. I was able to find a parking spot there every day after 18:00 (6:00 pm) for overnight parking. It's a 6 min. walk to the hotel.

It was more than worth it, showing up for the concert with no bag and no need for a taxi was so worth it. Great room, nice breakfast, friendly and helpful stuff - I was allowed to check out later to not have to wait so much in the lobby. Less than 10 minutes from downtown - a great one, I would like to add. Would stay here anytime again with confidence.
