The hosts Isabelle and Gary are truly lovely people and we loved chatting to them and meeting their beautiful new baby and friendly dog Otis. We felt very welcome and much appreciated a welcome cup of tea and carrot cake on arrival after cycling a long way to get there. They even offered a lift to town for dinner which was a lovely touch. The property is charming with a lovely garden. Importantly the shower was warm worked great. The breakfast is great - they went to a lot of trouble. They even packed us up some food for lunch before we checked out. Very highly recommended!

The pods were nice and clean, the host Ugin was very welcoming showing us the sheep and answered all our questions. The view is great contry side. I am not sure if it is reachable with public transportation.

The location was perfect, very close to the sea. The host, Phil, was lovely and attentive- she was more than kind offering us a ride during the rain, and recommending us places, offering her help.

Perfect location to explore, just beautiful home away from...

Perfect location to explore, just beautiful home away from home. Would go back in a heartbeat. Excellent hosts so helpful. So close to Kilkee for eating out, and fab drive up the coast to Doolin...McGarrs bar just a cracker for food. Make sure to have full tank of petrol or diesel!

Being 10km from Kilkee and the Pollock Holes which are...

Being 10km from Kilkee and the Pollock Holes which are natural sea water pools was wonderful for swimming. White Strand was 20min walk and 10min drive. Also we had a boat trip out to the Cliffs of Moher from Doolin. Highly recommend this area for a lovely restful quiet holiday with plenty of good sea air on the Wild Atlantic Way. Had dinner in Morrisseys Doonbeg and lunch in Trump Hotel.

stayed in the bungalow in glascloune, doonbeg hosted by Brigit and pat kelly. Couldn't meet nicer people, they would go above and beyond to make your stay the most comfortable and enjoyable holiday trip. The Bungalow was absolutely spotless, cozy, spacious, and had free wifi. we would recommend this bungalow for any couple or family. The White strand beach is only a 2 mins drive away and the village of Doonbeg is 5 mins drive where you find pubs, restaurants, and local shop. We will definitely be returning again to the Bungalow Padraic and Bernie

I loved my stay in Doonbeg.

I loved my stay in Doonbeg. The view from the cottages is beautiful and there is loads to do in the area. You need a car though as nothing is within walking distance. Thankfully, Trump's resort is more or less hidden from view and you can completely ignore it. The people are lovely and kind and helpful.

Amazing location, spotless home. More facilities than you would ever need. Bed was extremely comfortable, as was the recliner couch. Wi-Fi was great, surprisingly enough, given the rural area. Host was fantastic, we were left undisturbed, however Martina was available should we have needed anything. 10/10, we will absolutely be back (if any availability!) Doonbeg itself is very close to some amazing locations, we felt we needed more time to see it all!

Had a lovely stay here, such a cute place surrounded by horses. Peaceful & quiet, nice room with comfy beds and very clean. Linda was very nice and provided great recommendations. You would need a car if you’re staying here, it’s quite rural but location wasn’t an issue for us as we had the car and the surrounding area is lovely only a short drive to Doonbeg & Kilkee where there are lots of nice food options.

The bungalow is situated with good views of the bay and surrounding countryside. The house was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Michael the owner was very friendly and always on hand if we needed anything. We had a very peaceful relaxing time. The location was excellent, with easy access to Doonbeg village, Kilkee, Kilrush, and the nearest beach was within walking distance.

This was our 5th visit to Trump Doonbeg and it is consistently superb. Love the location, and even more beautiful on a stormy day when the sea is wild!! Rooms are spacious, bed, pillows & bed linen are amazing! All the staff are so friendly and fun. Also, the food never disappoints.

It was a self catering option, but welcome items were left for us, bread, milk, tea etc. It was very central to the village of Doonbeg, so an easy walk to shops, pubs and restaruants.
