This is a beautiful hotel with an expansive lawn and garden area. We lounged on comfortable lawn chairs, while sipping drinks and chilling after a long drive. The hotel is beautifully furnished and kept up very well. the room was very pleasant and comfortable. We dined at the in-house restaurant and enjoyed the finest Italian cuisine. The owner of the hotel went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. She was approachable and seemed to genuinely like talking to her guests. We felt very comfortable and welcome.

I stayed here for just a single night as a layover on a road trip from Spain to Austria. The room was old-fashioned but clean and quiet, so I had a good night's rest. Since Bardineto is a calm mountain village with few restaurants, I appreciated the option to have dinner at the hotel, even more so after my long drive. The owner speaks perfect English, and the rest of the staff, who didn't, were very patient with my broken Italian. I could even get advice on where to buy good Pesto alla Genovese on a Sunday—much appreciated!
