Admire the view of Trapani as you dine on the terrace at Hotel Elimo, set in the heart of the picturesque, mountain village of Erice in northwestern Sicily.

Room was simple but clean and got lovely light and the location was fantastic. The staff was super nice (it was really great to have an afternoon espresso in the courtyard) and the restaurant was really great.
In the heart of the pretty, historic, little village of Erice, this charming hotel enjoys fantastic views of the Mediterranean coast from Bonagia to San Vito lo Capo.
Admire the view across the terracotta rooftops of Erice from the roof terrace at Hotel Moderno.

The location is perfect. Right in the heart of all the attractions, shopping and restaurants. The taxi dropped us about 500 ft from the front door which was super convenient.
Just 984 feet from Erice Castle, Antico Borgo Erice is set on the main street of this historical town. This characteristic stone building offers rooms and an apartment, each with a balcony.

Antico Borgo is better than the pictures. Super cute and clean. Everything you need, with the staff close by. Great location. The restaurants and bakeries on the street are great, and lots of shops. The castle is a short walk up the street and there’s a breathtaking view on either side toward Marsala and toward San Vito Lo Capo.
Only 328 feet from the rocky beach, Orlando Vacanze Camere is 0.6 mi from Pizzolungo in Sicily. It offers air-conditioned accommodations, a terrace and a 24-hour reception.

Erice is a very charming town, and worth a visit, but only if you're able to walk steep hills and cobblestones. Maria Grammatico's pastry shop was a highlight for us, as was just walking around the town. Do be sure to 1) download EasyPark or a similar parking-pay app before you go, and if you stay in one of the hotels overnight, be sure to also download WhatsApp as most of the smaller Italian hotels use that to communicate.
All the food we had was great; prices were reasonable; not a lot of tourists, but even in early May, there were some.
We took a taxi up, which was pricer than the cable car, but I don't like heights!

Very old town with many things to see.
Very old town with many things to see.
Many restaurants for all kinds of food.
Since Erice is high up in the mountains, there are few level areas. Great for keeping in shape! You cannot get lost. It's a small town. Evenings get cooler, so bring a jacket if you plan to eat on a terrace.

The community has a nice offer for 12 Euro to enter all churches and monuments in the village. It can easily keep you busy and running around for a day in the village. A bus from/to the village from Trapani is 2,90 Euro and takes about 45 min. The Funivia (cable car is 6,50 Euro and takes about 20 min + the local AST 21 or 23 bus to take you there for 1,40 Euro). I saved one cable car ride for the last evening just as an experience enjoying the sunset views and using it as a way to reach the village late. The last bus from Trapani is 17.30 the last cable car around 20.00.

Apartment is located in the center of the old town, which is very nice. What we didn't like is a horrible and continuous noise coming from the water pomp, that we heard in our room. It was impossible to relax with this sound. Moreover we booked an apartment with a kitchen, which we didn't have. The host told us it was put in the add by mistake.

It's a fascinating medieval town where we spent many hours, we also had a lovely lunch at the convent restaurant.
We also went on the cable car with its fantastic view of Trapani below. There was actually nothing to do at the bottom so be went back up to Erice!
Great location, just at the beginning of Erice, an historic town built at the top of a rocky hill.
Facilities were ok but old, there is a feeling of old throughout the hotel. The view from the room was outstanding, overlooking the valley and the sea.
People were generally very welcoming, and if you arrive by car, the. a must is the valet service unless you arrive at Erice in the morning when there is less tourists around and you would be able to find parking in the blue lines.
The best part was by far the amazing view from our window.
I stayed at an accommodation with a breathtaking view, and the host took excellent care of us. She prepared delicious breakfast for us. The accommodation was clean and tastefully decorated with a sense of art. There was a space available for preparing simple meals, and we had air conditioning. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home in the accommodation. The host was very helpful, attentive, and kind. She communicated perfectly in English and assisted us whenever we needed it. It was the best accommodation we had in Sicily.
Al Postale 17 was a great little B&B right at the entrance to Erice. The host was a very nice woman and there is nothing I can really complain about or say was negative. Room was clean, morning coffee was great (I don't really eat breakfast but there were some pastries etc) and if you need to park the parking is right across from the B&B
we liked everything about the property. in particular, Antonio went out of his way to help us easily arrange for a taxi to the Palermo Airport, instead of the multi-step. stress-filled transportation mess that we thought would be good. we loved everything about the hotel and Erice is a jewel of a town. lots to see.
Historic feeling, pretty hotel. The staff were kind and professional. Quiet and a very pleasant stay. We were there in April and there was free parking just outside the Porta Carmine town gate but you have to circle the town to get to it and stay out of the ZTL. There restaurant opened to serve us dinner early.
The property is super cute and worth the trip if you are going to Erice. The host is friendly, room was very well appointed & the hotel is nicely designed. Breakfast options good too, and overall well located in the town. Probably one of the best places we stayed as far as room amenities, comfort and charm.
The apartment is huge, with an enormous sitting room, a kitchen/ dining room and large bathroom. It also has a nice balcony and a terrace overlooking the garden. There is also private parking on the premises. Very close to the cable car to Erice and the bus stop to go right to the old town.
Everything was perfect…the owners were very kind and helpful, they left many food items, like milk, bread, pasta, cookies, coffee, water, beer, wine, juice, fruit and more! The apartment was very unique and the terrace was fabulous. Best place we have stayed at in Sicily so far!!!
A beautiful comfortable apartment with plenty of outdoor communal space. It was in the perfect location; really central. The host could not have been more helpful with local information. Would definitely stay here again if returning to Erice.
The owner was very responsive and helpful with getting there and around including parking which is not easy in Erice. The location is a couple of stairs from the center and the view from the breakfast terrace is unbelievable.
Very nice and helpful host, perfect location to visit this part of Sicily-Madera, Erice, Zingaro, Segesta.... Very good breakfast with fresh orange juice and oranges straight from the orange tree. Great olive oil
It’s a truly hidden treasure- best location to explore Erice with very convenient walking distance to the main attractions of this place! Great breakfast with an amazing view of the ocean and towns below.
The hotel , the rooms and everything is better in real , the pictures on booking are really old and not good.
Also there is AC in some rooms even if it's missing from the picture and description.
The hotel is located in the centre of Erice and has places to park very close to the door. The views from the bedroom and breakfast room and terrace are lovely.
Friendly host, parking in front of the house on the calm street. Nearby to the sea, Trapani/Erice. Next to the Pizzolungo hill. Good coffee and breakfast.
