Takano-san is incredibly generous and very caring. I was coming back from a music festival and wasn’t sure if there were taxis operating from Echigo Yuzawa Station so I intended to do a 75-minute walk back, and she told me she was willing to pick me up. Fortunately, there were taxis making runs at 1am so I was able to make it back safely. I immensely appreciate her gesture.

    Homey Budget Friendly hotel close to slopes . Friendly staff and very accommodating. Appreciated the very early check in ! Loved the Sri Lankan Curry served over dinner. Meals are reasonably priced. Shared toilets , glad we went during a low period , i could imagine foot traffic to the shared bath and toilets if the place is full. Staff helped us clear the snow on our car. Shared bath is clean and adequate. Cozy dining area with fireplace.

    Just literally right next to the ski lift, have been to 10+ ski accommodations and this is the only one you can get onto the chair-lift from your room in like just a few mins. A bit old the place but it is spotless, the staffs are friendly and efficient, Japanese quality. Ski Rental is avaliable with good price and the staffs again are brilliant. Hotel New Fukudaya definitely will make me visit Ishiuchi again, and again. Thanks a lot！

    Door step to play sled,rental snow board and great view.It is located next to lift.Easier to access for snowboard and sled in front of the hotel.Owner was so helpful and be able to send us to Echigo station shopping area and ski rental shop. Room was comfortable and clean.Kitchen have all the utensils that I needed.
