Staff were really nice and helpful. During our stay my mom got an injury and the support provided by the staff were really good. Krishna at the Amutham restaurant were really helpful. I don’t remember the names of the others who helped, but big thanks to everyone.

Very friendly staff. It's actually a home stay. I think the owner's family lives on the ground floor. But rooms are up to standards. Good A/c. The toilet is alright. But i had a issue with water stream.

    Jaffna is still an unspoiled and hidden gem of a city. People are super friendly and the city is bustling and easy to navigate. There is a beech just outside the city center which is quiet and beautiful. It was very hot when we visited in july but we did not mind this at all.

    Jaffna is lovely city and it’s a shame we didn’t stay longer. It has changed a lot since our last visit 7 years ago with a lot more development but a shame so many franchises have opened up. It has a nice mix of tourist attractions and yet maintains its charm as a local area. The Rio ice cream is the best! I wish we had more time to enjoy local cuisine.

    Jaffna is a hot place and therefore the transport facilities should facilitate the climate. Jaffna is also not clean as compared to the other places in Sri Lanka. Need a concerted public awareness campaign to all residents of Jaffna. People's attitude should change !!!

    We visited the The Jaffna Library, Fort, Point Pedro, Velvettithurai, Thalaiyadi Beach, Keerimala Sacred springs, Dambakola Patuna Temple, Nallur Kovil and KKS - On our way back to Colombo we stopped at Elephant Pass, Ree Cha leisure park and the Iranamadu water reservoir - Fabulous trip which helps us to explore the rich culture of Jaffna along with the beauty of a village with mesmerizing memories,

    Jaffna is a beautiful place to visit.

    Jaffna is a beautiful place to visit. Places and temples are beautifully crafted with ancestral works. People we met were friendly and courteous. Places like Nallur Kandaswamy Temple, Nagadeepa Vihara and Nagapooshani Amman Temple in an island, and few other places, it’s beyond words. Need to feel the atmosphere personally to have the divine presence and connection within one’s self. Best food eatery place for us is Jaffna Authentic Cuisine. Getting around places is convenient with auto and grab cabs too.

    Humming Bird Suites is the place to stay if you are looking for an affordable and comfortable accommodation. It is a lovely villa with a terrace and a spacious hall. The rooms are clean and heaters are being installed so as to provide hot water in each room. Ragu is an exceptional host: he is kind, proactive, and ready to help with any needs such as booking long-distance buses and recommending places to enjoy Jaffna cuisine.

    Lovely boutique hotel in a central Jaffna location. We were the only guests staying at the time so had the whole property to ourselves, and the staff went out of their way to make us comfortable. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and the pool was great.
