    Genuine Dutch Design

A bustling small city, Eindhoven is the "Capital of Dutch Design" and home to the Design Academy. It houses a renowned technical university, and is a European technological hub that makes it shine with modern buildings and venues. The 5th-largest city in the Netherlands has also become popular for the fast-growing Eindhoven Airport.

Although it gained its city rights in 1232, until the foundation of the Philips Company in 1891 it was still a small village. Encompassing the growth of the company, at the beginning of the 21st century its population had jumped to 200,000 people.

Nowadays, it still attracts companies and people wanting to develop themselves in the fields of creativity and innovation. The Dutch Design Week is a famous event that takes place in October, while contemporary media, art and technology inspire the city’s agenda throughout the year.

Choosing hotels in central Eindhoven is the best way to have everything at hand. However, hotels or B&Bs near the train station or Eindhoven Airport are also a good option to avoid last-minute rushes. Check out Booking.com’s deals before you travel!

Hotels that guests love in Eindhoven

    • Hotel is literally part of the airport and could not be more convenient for taking a Flight. It is also easy to access centre of Eindhoven by a regular bus service from outside the Hotel door.

    • The bed was large and comfortable, the room and the bathroom spacious and clean. That's really all you expect from a hotel conveniently located beside the train station. And Eindhoven airport is only a 20 minute bus ride away. Ideal for the purpose if you're flying early the next day.

    • Hotel is very nice including its facilities. Not far away from Eindhoven airport, and when using a taxi for 2 people it's around 10 euro for both.

    • Queen Hotel is very nice, right in the centre of Eindhoven and easy to reach both from the Airport (by bus) and from the train station. The staff is really polite in the Hotel and in the restaurant. You can use the free wi-fi also in the restaurant. Very good choice!

    • Location, location, location. Right in the heart of things and area felt safe. Plenty of places to eat round the hotel. In the middle of the shopping district Left the Hotel and 10 mins later sitting on bus to Eindhoven airport bus !
