The apartment was tastefully decorated and well outfitted. The owner seems to have thought of everything to make it comfortable and convenient. There’s a magnificent view from the large balcony and an amazing swimming pool on the premises.

Make sure you don’t come if you’re in the rainy time April starts to get more rain. And try out the food throughout the town because it is wonderful and so many beautiful beaches rent something that has a real motor like a side-by-side cause some of the heels are steep.

Culebra has beautiful beaches accessible thru golf carts, jeep rentals or taxi to main beach, Flamenco beach. We traveled the end of November and rip current level was extremely high! Restaurants open around 4 pm, bakeries open early with long lines. Small convenience stores have plenty of food to take and eat in your room. Our family of 5 enjoyed exploring the many beaches around the island, snorkeling at Punta Soldado and Tamarindo and the views at Culebra. We loved Rolls of Heaven food the best!

WARNING - don't stay at this hotel if you want a clean room and facility. This property has nothing to offer. It's too pricey and they do not offer customer service. Hotel 8 is superior to this property. The furniture is broken and has torn covers; the stair are disgusting and filth everywhere. Don't believe the reviews. I left this property today and so relieved to be out of there. Whew.

Culebra was a beautiful island with a lot of beaches and wildlife to see. We saw horses roaming around, birds, crabs, sea turtles, and countless tropical fish while snorkeling. There were several nice restaurants serving fresh fish and local cuisine and even a taco place! Highly recommend the day trip to Culebrita with Captain Bill on his catamaran with his 2 dogs. He takes you to the island where he provides you snorkeling gear and instructions as to not disturb the reefs. He also provides info on exploring the island of Culebrita which includes a few beaches and an old lighthouse. He provided a beautiful charcuterie for snacks and before we returned to Culebra he prepares an incredible dinner of fresh fish and veggies with rice which you eat on the boat (best meal I had on the trip). The island was an experience you have to see for yourself!
Amazing set of individual cottages nestled in the high peaks of Culebra with amazing views. Our cabin was very spacious with a modern kitchenette, full-sized fridge, scenic patio, hammock. The cottages varied in size and view, but all appeared well kept and clean. Ours contained a medium sized cooler, beach chairs, umbrellas, and towels for easy use. Convenient to a local market, restaurants, and bars. Flamenco, Tamarindo beaches within short drive, ~5-10 minutes.
This is our second time staying at Country Family, and we have only good things to say about our stay here. Mary is always so gracious and was kind enough to let us check-in earlier. She is very accommodating and is such a sweet lady!
We also ate at her kiosko located at Flamenco Beach - highly recommend visiting if you stop by the famous beach!
We will make an effort to stay here whenever we make our way back to Culebra!
What I really liked is that was an apartment with everything you need for a comfy stay.
It's like been in a resort it has panoramic scenes of the island you can watch the sunrise from the balcony with a cup of coffee and enjoy the bay. And the owners of the property the Ortega family are the best hosts Heidi and Eddie make us feel at home. We are very happy to stay in their Villa. We will definitely return!
Great location in Culebra, about 20 mins walk / 4 mins drive from the Feerh terminal . We enjoyed the nice walk as the weather was pleasant. Nina is a great host and she also has a restaurant on property which serves snacks and some quick fast food. There are beach chairs and towels you can use during your visit. The bedroom has ac and the shower has some hot water issues but the stay was very pleasant.
The scenery, landscaping were stunning--all the amenities we could need were provided. Super friendly staff eager to help. Pool, bar, extra towels for the beach, breakfast included, fridge stocked with Medalla local beer and wine. Lovely cottages--clean--comfy bed, outdoor patio to enjoy scenery/drinks. Plenty of parking for your jeep--which you must have to get around the island.
Well equipped Kitchen for guests to use. Backyard für sitting/chilling. Good WiFi, Big bathroom. Complementary coffee, soap, Shampoo. Top Snorkeling gear to Rent for 15 Dollars per day. 15-20 min walk to the ferry and Restaurants is OK. Upon Check-In the lady showed us all the important things on a map of the Island, she really took her time.
The breakfast was wonderful. The best pancakes I ever had. Carlos is the best. He picked us at the ferry pier and he's very efficient and customer oriented. Also Rosa is very friendly.
Our room was # 6. Big room with great views to the bay, comfy bed, hot water, mini fridge, Cable TV. What else do you need...??? For me, was a great stay.
Private Villa 604 was spotless, beautiful, had a gorgeous view, and had all the amenities of a hotel. Heidy and Eddy have gone out of their way to make your stay in their condo and on Culebra as welcoming and comfortable as possible. I literally believe that this is the BEST airbnb or vrbo that I have ever rented. Beautiful.
The room was sparkling clean! The host “Ivette” was great and prompt to answer any question.
Beautiful view!!!
Just a little far from city and beaches. Not walking distance but for the price, you can’t ask for more…
No elevator, so don’t bring heavy luggage.
It would be great if the room was a little darker to sleep…
WARNING: This property is awful - it's dirty, old, run down, staff were not helpful and there is no service. It was the worse experience. The information on the website is misleading. I have pictures of the filthy hotel. Culebra was beautiful and the people super friendly. Stay at this hotel made my visit unpleasant.
Ervin and Griselle were simply the best hosts we've ever met. Extremely kind and available, eager to help you with any info you need and flexible, they made us feel at home. The Posada is at the very centre of the tiny Culebra, close to every restaurant and to the port. We couldn't ask for more!
The hotel was super cute & clean but small, the location was ok not a lot to do within walking distance need a golf cart . The Taco spot across street saved us with food and drinks due to no water in the island
the place is very comfy and very clean, make you feel the island flow. The best bed, very comfortable and soft. the AC excellent. everything is incredible. the back yard so beautiful. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Nice private accommodation. Clean and comfortable. One big room which worked well for us. Kids slept on a pull out couch. Nice patio with a good view of the water and island
