Cathedral City is generally more affordable that other locations in the greater Palm Springs area. It easy to get to the I10 and to the shopping areas in Palm Desert. It is a little further from the downtown Palm Springs area but the drive is easy and has more than one option for routing that allows you to avoid traffic. The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, Moorten Botanical Gardens, Thousand Palms hiking path, and Ruth Hardy Park are all lovely attractions that keep us coming back in addition to the beautiful views. Driving around was very easy and shopping facilities were very good.

I liked that it was so close to the gas station and the strip mall with so many dining options.the pool area is large and didnt get crowded at all.the towels in the pool could have been stocked with more towels.a couple of times there wasnt any when I went down there.The breakfast was good with a decent variety to choose from and I like that the place was not in a real busy part of town.there are a few hikes nearby that we enjoyed and the staff was very friendly and accomodating.I was also given a 3hr early check in.EricUnited States of America - 10Scored 10

As the evening approached, we could not agree on a place to have dinner, so we just stayed at the hotel and ordered pizzas. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We travelled to the Homewood from LA because we wanted to visit cable car, Palm spring canyon and Joshua tree so the location of the hotel is perfect, as well as there is a Walmart near by.
