The Rodeway Inn & Suites Hershey hotel is located 1.6 mi from Hersheypark amusement park, ZooAmerica wildlife park, Hersheypark Stadium and Hershey's Chocolate World.
A town of about 11000, older storefronts. This gives more of a hometown feel. Many churches to choose from for Sunday services. Close to Hershey and Lancaster attractions. A small college town, along with the Abel Family venues for weddings and such. Great place to use as a home base when in the area. Guss's Restaurant served home-cooked meals, and Brothers Pizza has quite the menu for the kids, large pizza or buy it by the slice, all good. Many more eateries to try.
This was a quiet hotel close to the town, 5 min drive.
The room was clean, big, comfortable and quiet, despite facing the front of the hotel where all the cars parked.
The reception staff was very nice and helpful and very professional.
The room was ok. Your typical low-end hotel fair. Beds were average. Bathroom was small but serviceable. Included a mini-fridge, microwave, decent size tv and coffee maker.
The breakfast was delicious and hearty.
Our host greeted us with a beautiful assortment of fruits, sweets, quiche, etc., and chatted about the area, things to do, etc.
