We only stayed one night.

We only stayed one night. Had an early flight out of MDT to Chicago. But we did have dinner at the Tattered Flag on Union St in Middletown. Really enjoyed the menu and beer selections. Cool venue.

If you want a quiet clean place to sleep and shower then this is a good spot. Everything is very dated and simple but at least it is clean. Everything seems like it's dirty but it's just the age. The breakfast was basic cereal, basic pastries, different types of bread, butter, jam, milk, and different fruit yogurts. While there it seemed like the cliental were a mixture of truck drivers, people moving and making a pit stop on their long trip. There are several fast food restaurants within walking distance, a couple local Mom and Pop restaurants and a couple gas station. Very conveniently located off of the major highway and minutes away from several shopping centers, hospital, pharmacy etc.

I visited Hummelstown as part of our summer vacation June, 2023 to Hershey Park. The hotel was very reasonable priced and located approximately 5 to 10 minute drive to Hershey Park. We not only had a great time at the Park, but we also enjoyed visiting the town of Hummelstown, PA. We drove through the city and enjoyed a taste of ice cream at the Diner on Main St. In addition, we enjoyed the scenery. We discovered the history of Hersheypark at the Historical Museum. We encountered friendly people throughout the town. Hummelstown is a quaint small town that I so enjoyed visiting.

The heated swimming was great additional amenity of the hotel, and it was the most favorite spot of the family. The breakfast was really good. It was easy to locate the place. Definitely, we will stay again.

The Capitol iw well worth the trip thought guided tours should be without cryign and screaming babies in arms! Should limit it to 5 years of age and older. Civil War Museum is magnificent, well done, well coordinated, comprehensive and heartbreaking. Not enoujgh of Congressional Medal of Honor recipients.Stage Museum adjacent to Capitol is conspiculously absent of any information on James Buchanan, the only President from Pennsylbvania. If it's really a STATE museum, he houjld have been included in some detail. Surprised there was noting on Pennsylvania Railroad. Uber service is terrific,street maps wold be helpful for walking, showing restaurants, shops, etc.

Hershey is a great place to visit.

Hershey is a great place to visit. So many attractions close by...the Hershey Museum, Hershey Chocolate World, Hershey Park, the Butterfly Gardens and Botanical Gardens and more. Plus there are great places to see that are only a short drive away...Gettysburg, Lancaster, Sight and Sound Theater just to name a few.

Elizabethtown and the surrounding areas are beautiful.

Elizabethtown and the surrounding areas are beautiful. The outskirts are bucolic, but at the same time, there are several "big city" activities. We went shopping at the Lancaster Mall which had every store we could want. Then, we went to K-Pot in Harrisburg to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and we had an amazing dinner.

Big rooms, comfortable beds, very clean, bathroom could have been lighted better, shower nice with good pressure, most of the staff was very friendly, breakfast was good and fresh, great location, and even had an area to purchase snacks and such at the check in counter. Rooms were very clean. Bob Evans right up the street for an excellent breakfast option, and Rex Robin right near Hersheypark, which is close too.

This was very convenient for our purposes. The place is simple, very clean, and well run and we've enjoyed staying here very much. We will return here again. While here we discovered quite a few interesting restaurants within a short drive...Vietnamese, Korean, Indian, plus the usual favorites including friendly diners. New Cumberland is a very charming village with cute shops and places to eat.
