The breakfast was great. The front desk personnel were wonderful and understanding. My wife broke her arm on Sunday so we had to go to the ER on Monday which took a lot of time. The front desk gave us an extra 1-1/2 hours to check out. We greatly appreciated that!!!Nothing

The stay at the Hampton Inn was exceptional. The staff was outstanding with check-in. My husband cannot do stairs, and has a hard time walking, we were given a first floor room, which was close to the entrance. Very appreciated. I will stay at the Hampton Inn again without a doubt.

    Mount Pleasant has a great downtown, walking parks and Island Park has a wonderful farmers market . The Art Reach center is good too. If you like a nice affordable quiet place to shop for groceries, go to the Green Tree Market downtown. Around the city is Central Michigan University surrounded by loads of places to eat and big shopping centers if that is your thing.

    The price we got the room for was great.

    The price we got the room for was great. The breakfast was nice, but you want to be there before 9:30am. The mattress was to firm for me. The pillows were soft, great. Noticed a musty smell upon entering the room. Air fresheners would be useful. All in all it was a good stay.

    We came for a show at the casino, but checked out downtown...

    We came for a show at the casino, but checked out downtown as a possible place to eat. Our impression of downtown was sad. There was a major entertainer at the casino. The show was at their large outside theater. We discovered that we are too old to enjoy a show like that. NEVER AGAIN!

    Down town (old) is very charming, well kept homes, clean streets with old trees, nice parks, student residencies apparently very clean and well kept (at least from the outside) many little bars, hangouts.

    I'm very disappointed in booking.com because I canceled my reservation after looking at the cleanliness of this hotel l wasn't entitled to my full return although I booked in advance through booking.com I will never deal with you guys again

    closeness to the college was great.

    closeness to the college was great. The hotel is older, but it was clean. We only needed basic amenities and it fit the bill. But I requested the ground floor and paid for it. The folks above us talked & moved around all night. And the constant changing of the heat in the room was noticeable. we set the temp but it just kept adjusting on its own. one minute we were warm, then cool air came on, then back to warm air. The folks above us made us realize how thin the wall were. get a top floor if you can. other then that, it was good for an overnight day of a day or two.

    Your breakfast was nice specially the fresh fruit juice and the location of this hotel is very convenience as it is very close to Target, Walmart and so many like this. I enjoyed the days spent in this hotel. The staffs were frienly enough as well as helpful too.
