Centrally located in Puerto Viejo de Talamanca town center and just a 3-minute walk from Salsa Brava Beach, Hotel Indalo adults only features an extensive garden, sun terrace and free Wi-Fi. The facility is owner operated. He is friendly and can speak English, although he is Spanish. Most willing to try to get us to a specific tour by calling the organisers. The room was spacious and the swimming a great relieve in the heat of Puerto Viejo. About 300 metres from the sea and very nice beach restaurants.

This tropical hotel is located next to Costa Rica's Arenal Volcano, 3.7 mi from La Fortuna. It offers a natural hot spring, outdoor adventure activities, a luxurious spa and scenic volcano views. A beautiful property that exceeded our expectations. Value for money. Spacious and well cared for. We drove to the look out point which was worth it (not sure walking in the heat would be worth it.) Very good selection at breakfast.

Offering direct access to the beach, Lanna Ban Hotel is located in Puerto Viejo. The hotel features an exotic garden and contemporary Thai architecture. Free WiFi access is available. Great hotel with a lovely pool area and abundance of wildlife. Also very comfortable rooms set in lovely gardens. Hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. Hotel is only a short distance from Puerto Viejo town and easy by tuktuk or bike.

Located in La Fortuna town, San Bosco Inn offers an outdoor pool and lush gardens, free Wi-Fi in public areas and rooms with garden views. The Arenal Volcano is 3.1 mi away. Everything! The hotel is super clean, comfortable and has great views to the volcano! The breakfast is the best we've had in Costa Rica. The pool is super nice and then having the hot springs entrance is a great add on (you'll need a car for this). They also have coffee during the whole day, if you value that. They can help you organize tours and give you recommendations on what to do around. We loved it so much we just booked another stay with them for the end of our trip to Costa Rica :)

Discover the charm of Hotel Secreto La Fortuna, a quiet retreat in the heart of Fortuna, Costa Rica. I loved this accommodation: perfect location (walking distance to restaurants, very safe at night, view of Arenal volcano), great breakfast (three options), very helpful staff (arranging taxis, also I couldn't pay at check-in because my MasterCard was blocked by Worldline and they were very unstanding until the problem was solved), ...

Located in Fortuna, 2.9 miles from La Fortuna Waterfall, Cabañas del Rio has accommodations with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking and a garden. The care and attention shown by Leo was a standout for us. Finding accomodation for a family can be hard but the sized rooms were great value for money. We were travelling on a budget but this property exceeded our expectations. Leo breakfast and birdwatching was outstanding. A lovely pool to cool off in. A taxi ride is $4 to town and a bus station right outside, there is a great view of Arenal from a spot in the pool area and in the dining deck. We were lucky enough to see toucans and monkeys in the trees above and Leo was in hand with his telescope. Tje night frog tour was engaging and fun - we also saw an owl.

Located on the banks of River Baru, Hotel Villas Río Mar is also within a walking distance of 2953 feet from the Village of Dominical. It was set in a gorgeous setting. The restaurant was great and the staff was well trained and friendly .
