Set 17 mi from Hella and 7.5 mi from Laugaland, Landhotel features a garden, bar and free WiFi. Featuring a 24-hour front desk, this property also provides guests with a restaurant. Jacuzzi outside is a plus. The breakfast was super complete. The receptionist guy was extremely friendly and we were called for the northern lights.

Opened in June 2018, Hotel 1001 Nott offers modern accommodations 3.1 mi from Egilsstadir. The hotel features outdoor hot tubs overlooking Lake Lagarfljót. There is also an on-site bar. Nice hotel with great view of the lake. Super friendly staff who offered a golf car to carry our luggages into the rooms. GREAT breakfast, very high quality, with omelette/fried eggs made to order.

Located in Siglufjörður, Siglo Hotel by Keahotels offers 4-star accommodations with a terrace and a bar. Offering a restaurant, the property also has a shared lounge, as well as a sauna and a hot tub.... This was our favorite hotel in Iceland. The room was very cozy, and it had a king size mattress. The restaurant was very good, the breakfast was one of the best also.
