Located in Aso, 21 miles from Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto, Fairfield by Marriott Kumamoto Aso has accommodations with a shared lounge, free private parking and a terrace. The room was so beautiful, clean and with the most comfortable bed. It’s just by the station so it’s very convenient to get to mt aso. The people at the reception desk were very friendly and printed the bus schedule for me. Thank you!

We initially booked for a hostel that was much more expensive and it was simply not for us. Lucky for that as we quickly found this hotel and it was one of this nicest and most fun stays we’ve had in Japan. The entire staff from the welcome from Umi, Honey and Naomi to the amazing breakfasts we had with the Chef, Adrian, Cody and Kami, to the evening conversations we had at their bar with Tom and Pierre - what an incredibly fun experience. The rooms were really spacious, the breakfast and coffee was delicious (we did not pay for a pre-paid option) and the location was really good. Near the train, near Nishiki Market, a quick train or cab ride to Kyoto Station. Would definitely stay again next time we are in Kyoto and look forward to this company opening other hotels in other cities.

Beppu Hatto Onyado Nono Beppu is located in Beppu, 13 miles from Oita Bank Dome and 7.5 miles from Oita Station. Featuring a restaurant, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Comfortable but with very tiny rooms. Unusual experience {which we liked} for a big hotel is that you must not wear shoes at any place in the hotel. All floors are carpeted with tatami mats, which are beautiful, but since this hotel caters a lot to tour groups, the front doors become jammed when a bus comes in and people must remove their shoes. Tour groups also bottleneck at the elevators and restaurant. Breakfasts looked great, but we wouldn't go when tours were lined up. Excellent coffee always available. Outdoor onsen was tiny (maybe 3 meters by 3 meters). Indoor onsen was large enough, but not hot enough. Great location with lots of restaurants nearby. Fantastic English-speaking staff. Dormy's HR Dept know their stuff. We'd stay again, despite the small rooms and small onsen. Visit the very old downtown onsen, Takegawara, , a must, and the seafront walk, Good bakery (Mermaid) at the train station. Liveely downtown area.

Attractively set in the Shimogyo Ward district of Kyoto, Hotel Traveltine Kyoto Kiyamachi is located a 12-minute walk from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall, one mile from Samurai Kembu Kyoto and... The Hotel is very clean and in a super great location, you can just walk to Gion and to all the main places in Kyoto. You also have a bus stop just downstairs to get to the further temples. The breakfast is super basic but you also have a convenient shop just downstairs. The staff is very nice and the room was quite spacious and very well organized with the bathroom being splittet with WC Room and Shower Room.
