Located in Yokohama and with Yokohama Marine Tower reachable within 3.7 miles, Sotetsu Hotels The Splaisir Yokohama provides a fitness center, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and... Totally perfect! Super spacious room, it listed as 23m but it was better than few 25m we’d stayed in, thanks to good planning. Quality towels and comfy bed. Well equipped gym. The hotel located in a central tower so you can have all you need without stepping out of the building if it rains (a bit pricey, but convenient). The parking lot is a bit high priced, but on the second night we could purchase 1500JPY ticket for 24 hours. You should check with the stuff on your arrival.

In a prime location in Kyoto, KABIN Taka provides air-conditioned rooms, a fitness center, free WiFi and a garden. This 4-star hotel offers luggage storage space. Great location and close to many local bars, restaurants and the Main Street. Room was huge by Japan standards, and very clean and space efficient. Staff were so friendly, and shared personal recommendations on what to see and do in the area. Will definitely be staying here again when we’re back in Kyoto.

Attractively set in the Shimogyo Ward district of Kyoto, Hotel Traveltine Kyoto Kiyamachi is located a 12-minute walk from Kyoto Shigaku Kaikan Conference Hall, one mile from Samurai Kembu Kyoto and... The staff here are literally the most decent, warm and genuine people I have ever met at a hotel. One particular lady at reception made a lovely origami note for my daughter concerning her broken arm that was in plaster in a sling.

Featuring 4-star accommodations, Hotel Metropolitan Tokyo Haneda - 2023-10-17 Grand Opening is located in Tokyo, 2.1 mi from Miwa Itsukushima Shrine and 2.3 mi from Omori Hachiman Shrine. I would say a luxurious hotel in a strange location. Convenient if you need an overnight stay near the airport, a few minutes to the station. Luxurious surroundings, top-class service, great view from the restaurant windows.

Located in Aso, 21 miles from Egao Kenko Stadium Kumamoto, Fairfield by Marriott Kumamoto Aso has accommodations with a shared lounge, free private parking and a terrace. Great location, free parking, excellent facilities including laundry, food and drink vending machine, and a wonderful communal eating area with microwave, toaster oven, coffee machine. Room looked out toward Mt Aso. Hotel is next to railway station. There are a couple of restuarants and a Lawsons nearby.

Beppu Hatto Onyado Nono Beppu is located in Beppu, 13 miles from Oita Bank Dome and 7.5 miles from Oita Station. Featuring a restaurant, the 3-star hotel has air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi. Comfortable but with very tiny rooms. Unusual experience {which we liked} for a big hotel is that you must not wear shoes at any place in the hotel. All floors are carpeted with tatami mats, which are beautiful, but since this hotel caters a lot to tour groups, the front doors become jammed when a bus comes in and people must remove their shoes. Tour groups also bottleneck at the elevators and restaurant. Breakfasts looked great, but we wouldn't go when tours were lined up. Excellent coffee always available. Outdoor onsen was tiny (maybe 3 meters by 3 meters). Indoor onsen was large enough, but not hot enough. Great location with lots of restaurants nearby. Fantastic English-speaking staff. Dormy's HR Dept know their stuff. We'd stay again, despite the small rooms and small onsen. Visit the very old downtown onsen, Takegawara, , a must, and the seafront walk, Good bakery (Mermaid) at the train station. Liveely downtown area.

Conveniently located in Kyoto, KABIN Kyoto provides air-conditioned rooms, a terrace, free WiFi and a restaurant. This 4-star hotel offers a bar. I would rate this stay an 11. We initially booked for a hostel that was much more expensive and it was simply not for us. Lucky for that as we quickly found this hotel and it was one of this nicest and most fun stays we’ve had in Japan. The entire staff from the welcome from Umi, Honey and Naomi to the amazing breakfasts we had with the Chef, Adrian, Cody and Kami, to the evening conversations we had at their bar with Tom and Pierre - what an incredibly fun experience. The rooms were really spacious, the breakfast and coffee was delicious (we did not pay for a pre-paid option) and the location was really good. Near the train, near Nishiki Market, a quick train or cab ride to Kyoto Station. Would definitely stay again next time we are in Kyoto and look forward to this company opening other hotels in other cities.
