Very pleasant accommodation in the medina of the lovely town of Mahdia. Mahdia, although not as well known as it's beachside counterparts, is peaceful and attractive. A great place to spend some Tunisian time.

We (a family with 2 kids at the age of 6 months / 4 years) had a wonderful stay at The Residence Douz. Amazing rooms, attentive and super child friendly staff. Breakfast was great and we felt very welcome in a positive environment, right next to the Sahara desert. The spa area is great. My best hotel experience in Tunisia so far, we even extended our stay. The staff was wonderful and very nice polite especially Ghofrane, Lilia, Rania, Houda,Najet. They were always smiling and kind make you feel home.
