The hotel is very modern and the staff is super friendly and more than willing to be of assistance. The breakfast was superb, the bed was so comfortable and the adorable dogs were just so heartwarming.

We had a wonderful stay at The Houghton Hotel during our trip to South Africa. The hotel is incredibly modern and stylish, with very spacious rooms. The bed was exceptionally comfortable—exactly what we needed after a long flight. One of the highlights was the breakfast, very tasty and lots of options. The staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay, and we were especially grateful that they accommodated a very early check-in so we could rest right away. Although we didn’t get a chance to use the hotel’s amenities, we did take a look around and everything—from the pool area to the wellness facilities—looked top-notch and beautifully maintained. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing, upscale base in Johannesburg.

Located across the Menlyn Shopping Center in Pretoria, Menlyn Boutique Hotel features an outdoor pool, a casual-dining restaurant, massage spa and conference facilities. The rooms were beautiful and clean. The staff were exceptional in particular Jafta and Respect at the restaurant. D also went out of his way to help us. It was a haven in the midst of the business of family catch-ups.
