Wonderful, historic building. Breakfast was something to behold for a cyclist that needs calories: bacon and eggs…..top notch.

A unique experience staying in the ruins of a castle fort. The rooms are basic and clean. The ruins of the castle are incredible as are the views. Spend the day exploring the ruins, watch the sun go down in the evening and in the morning watch the sun rise from this scenic spot.
Breakfast is good and dinner service is provided at an additional cost. In the evenings local people come to the castle for drinks and socializing.
Historical guided tours of the grounds only happen for two months in the summer. Check ahead of time if they are available if this is something you would want to do.
La casita de El Cuervo offers air-conditioned accommodations in El Cuervo. The bed and breakfast features mountain views, a terrace, and free Wifi is available throughout the property.
Ademuz is a difficult place to visit with a car. The streets are very narrow and the turns are tight. Nor are there many places to park. This is also typical of several other nearby towns such as Castielfabib. So it is best to visit this area in cool weather when walking is easier.
There is not a lot to see in Ademuz. Hiking seems to be the preferred activity.

Great place to stay for hiking enthusiasts.
Great place to stay for hiking enthusiasts. Variety of trails, most of them along rivers, with some panoramic views as well.
The town itself is well worth a visit as well; you can feel the history still being preserved in its narrow streets.
Ana was a wonderful host. Nothing was too much trouble. The building is full of rustic charm and very central in the village. The breakfast, featuring local products like apple juice, was copious. The water jet bath in the room a great way to relax after coming back from one of the many hiking trails that criss-cross the Ademuz province. If we ever found ourselves back in Ademuz Ana's place would be our choice every time.
