If you’re looking for a quiet, nicely appointed, very we’ll maintained, rural hotel in a remote village location with the constant gurgle of the stream that runs through it and at the foot of the mountains, this is it. Lovely establishment managed by a very gracious host.

Very modern, clean and comfortable. The apartment had everything we needed for a 1 night stay, we would loved to have stayed for longer. The property is remote, but we were travelling by bicycle and had food with us. The kitchen is well equipped. Otherwise you would need to drive a distance to go to a restaurant. The bread shop down the road opened at 6am so we could have fresh croissants and bread for breakfast.
Offering a picturesque setting within Picos de Europa National Park, Arcea Gran Hotel Pelayo is set in a beautiful building overlooking Covadonga Cathedral.

Loved the facilities in general busy restaurant and quiet rooms in back of facility. The staff are friendly and engaged and go above and beyond to work around my lack of Spanish language skills.

Great little hotel with tons of charm. The host was very courteous and kind. The location was amazing - in the middle of the mountain, surrounded by the great hills and cliffs of Nature Reserve Ponga. We arrived very late and Julio even offered to fix us a quick dinner. I half expected something from a microwave but to my surprise he made us a simple but classic mountain dish from scratch.
Hotel Llerau is a lovingly restored Asturian building with traditional features and the comforts of a modern hotel combined. It is located in Taranes a small community situated in a beautiful and dramatic natural landscape. There are many opportunities for outdoor activities within walking distance. Our host Julio was very friendly and accommodating. He is also a good chef!
