The village has two bars one of which has just re-opened after a stylish refurbishment and now does frites. The village also has a very good bakery open from 06:30 (buy a take away filled baguette to eat on the shuttle).

This was a really authentic stay with a local family.
This was a really authentic stay with a local family. They have several rooms, but we were made to feel special and their welcome could not have been warmer. We asked about a place to eat and the hostess recommended a place, and then she phoned for us and made a reservation. The evening became an experience in itself, with the most friendly of restauranteurs, who chatted to us between courses, which she cooked to order! We even ended up swapping recipes at the end of the evening!!
The hotel sits in beautifully kept grounds with a terrace for drinks. The evening meal was extremely good, as was the breakfast. For those with a sweet tooth the dessert trolley is to be admired. Although a little dated the decor was in keeping with the hotel and its era and is so traditionally french. The staff were helpful and friendly.
Plenty of parking at the hotel.
A good place to stay to relax before returning to the UK, the hotel being so close to the channel ports.
Lovely hotel either for an overnight or stay to explore the area. Staff couldn't have been more helpful. My dogs were made welcome and we had an ideal room with easy outside access. The evening meal and breakfast were delicious and particular effort was put in to provide me with gluten free options ( by far the best I have visited in France) Only 35 minutes from the Eurotunnel. Would definitely recommend this hotel
Typical French logis rather than a boutique hotel. We last visited 30 years ago and returned to find it still a special place to stay. The evening meal was exceptional, classic French cooking at its best, a real treat. The rooms are very clean and decorated in a classic French style, the hotel is in a country setting. You will enjoy this if you are seeking a French experience with great food.
Our stay was faultless. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. The hotel is absolutely spotless. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed anywhere so clean and well maintained. Jack made our stay. He’s without doubt the most entertaining, knowledgeable and on the ball member of staff we’ve ever met. What a credit to a great hotel.
Absolutely perfect location with plenty to see, something that I never have the privilege of in the UK. If I had the opportunity to stay another night then I sure would have loved too. The staff are very welcoming and helpful and overall absolutely fantastic value for money! Would 100% stay again when travelling to France for business. 🙂
If you need to stay in the Dunkerque area this hotel is exceptional value for money. The staff could not be more helpful, the food was superb, the hotel beautiful. I actually drove past it as I thought it couldn't be my place, looked too fancy!
A charming country hotel on the outskirts of Dunkirk. Beautifully kept garden and well- furnished rooms in old-fashioned French style. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was chic and luxurious. We enjoyed every minute we were there.
Lovely family run hotel, excellent service and friendly welcome! The food in the restaurant is exceptional too! Great location for a final night before you catch the ferry back to the UK.
