Absolutely perfect! Can't wait to return to Amorgos and Nostos Studios. The property is a quiet little pension with renovated rooms that are very tastefuly decorated. small and functional kitchen. Great housekeeping everyday. Breezy balcony. Very friendly owner! No English but no problem!
Set within a stone's throw of the scenic beach, Aelia Studios offers traditional, yet modern units in Aegiali. The port of Aegiali is at just 656 feet. Free WiFi is available.

It’s nicely located, only two minutes to the beach and town. The apartment was smart and very comfortable. It felt private and warm overall. Most of all, the staff of one was what really made it special. We received the nicest welcome from Fotini/Claire who was always helpful and smiling. She added that special touch to the stay.
The average price per night for a 3-star hotel in Aegiali this weekend is $81 or, for a 4-star hotel, $121. Looking for something even fancier? 5-star hotels in Aegiali for this weekend cost around $314 per night, on average (based on Booking.com prices).
A great place to stay. A great beach on the doorstep and several others a reasonable walk away. Loads of eating and drinking places.
Really good for walkers. Some challenging hikes, but also more gentle walks. Usually these are on wonderful cobbled 'donkey' trails.

Such a charming little town.
Such a charming little town. Not as developed as other islands so retains charm and a load of character. Great little tavernas and bars for sunset. Everyone very friendly, very easy to find your way around. The perfect holiday location.

This is a perfect, unhurried location to unwind and just relax. Lots of local food options, two grocery stores, a bakery and various shops and ATMs in town provide everything you'd need. We loved the Limani Restaurant in particular for its food and atmosphere. It has a great menu with several daily specials (meat, seafood, vegetarian and vegan offerings) and we ate several meals there. Nice beach - rather skinny but nice and long and pretty clean. Gets direct sunlight from about 10:00 AM and is a great place to watch the sunset. The population of the town is around 500 so things move at a pretty relaxed pace. While there are several nice tavernas that also offer food I wouldn't say that this is a place to come if you're craving nightlife. Two local villages, Thoralia and Lungarno which are both less than a 10-minute drive are packed with old-style Greek and definitely worth visiting. Lots of hiking trails of varying difficulty in the area. People were extremely friendly and welcoming.

There's not much to see or do on Amorgos but Aegiali is an enchanting place to kick back and chill for a few days. Nice beach with zero hassle to pay for deckchairs and lots of great, friendly restaurants and cafes, all at decent prices.
If anything the quiet and lack of culture got a little tedious - it would be an ideal place to get to know an engaging new lover or write that novel!

The beach is beautiful and at this time of year it’s easy to find a place of solitude. The vistas are spectacular, with winding roads and adjacent villages dotting the horizon. The cats, familiar residents of all Greek isles are well fed and healthy, as are the goats. The bars over look the Aegean and restaurants line the alley ways. The village is a 16km drive to the Chora; the scenic drive well worth it. Most nice hotels are a good hike to the town. You will need a car to explore the mountain villages, with their winding narrow streets and tavernas, although there is a local bus. Our favourite taverna in Aegali is To Limone. Wise to show up early as it gets busy around 7pm and try one of the daily specials. We stayed at Aliori Art Caves, lovingly created, designed and built by Roberto and his wife “Sunday”. An amazing experience on so many levels!

There were good opportunities for walking.
There were good opportunities for walking. The climb to Tholaria and the coastal path to Levrossos in particular. Two restaurants should be singled out for mention: Katinas and Taksidi. The beach at Levrossos is preferable to the one in Aegiali. Chora deserves a visit.
What a lovely place! The perfect homebase to explore Amorgos. The rooms were spotlessly clean, tastefully furbished and spacious. Beds are comfortable and the private balconies are just lovely, mine even had partial sea view. I had a motorbike to get around which was great to get to remote places and mountain villages, but it's an easy walk to the beach and all the lovely taverns of Aegiali. (The location on Google Maps is wrong, it is correct here on Booking.com) I enjoyed my stay here very much, thank you!
Everything was great. Petradi is located in an awesome secluded spot only 10minutes away from the town of Aegiali. The peacefulness of the place captivated us and you have direct access to the beach with crystal clear water. Breakfast is delicious (don’t miss out on the pancakes) and everybody there really nice and helpful, specially Elli, the manager, who was really sweet and thoughtful and gave us great tips of spots around the island. Would definitely recommend it and hope to be able to come back soon :)
Amazing place to stay in Amorgos! New and clean facilities, super friendly host and staff, bathroom equipped with towels and hygienic products, kitchen equipped with Nespresso machine, toaster, fridge, stove and all other utensils you might need during your stay. The amazing view from the studio is definitely a plus - perfect to watch the sunset from the jacuzzi. Super satisfied with the experience. :)
The location is great. In the middle of the beautiful village with restaurants, shops and bars a few streps away and also very close to the beautiful beach. The surrounding is very relaxed and quiet. The rooms have a modern design are very clean and have a nice outdoor sitting-area. AC worked perfectly. The view on the second floor is superb. We will definitely choose Anatoli if we go back to Amorgos.
The apartment is very clean, with a beautiful view to the sea and was very close to the center of Aegeali but unfortunately I have arrived there with a broken leg.
The owner Sofia was so kind to drive me down to the restaurant every day for the entire duration. Thank You!
Because of her I was able enjoy Aegiali as well
We are looking forward to return next year.
A lovely place. The Hotel is by the sea, you can have an amazing view from your room. Adonis who is in charge of the site is lovely. He takes care of everything for you. The Hotel is not a touristic one, Adonis works with is mother. You would enjoy a breakfast close to the swimming pool admiring the view of the bay of Amorgos. We strongly recommend this hotel !!!
The hotel has a great location, walking distance from the port and easy entrance to all the northern routes, which I found the be the best! The rooms are big and airy with all the amenities you need to have an affordable, enjoyable stay. And Stavroula is a warm, highly responsive host who is always willing and able to help out!
we truly had an incredible stay here! It was a wonderful base for exploring Amorgos. I can’t begin to say how kind and welcoming our hosts were . we absolutely consider them friends now after 5 nights here. I hope to be lucky enough to come back and stay here again someday!
Well located at 2-min walking distance from Aegiali center and beach, we had a very pleasant stay at this hotel.
The owner was very welcoming, the room was spacious and clean with a view on the sea and sunset. Would definitely recommend.
Great location with a beautiful view to Aegiali bay. Very close (2-3 minutes walk) to the port, bus station and the center of Aegiali. Everything inside the room was convenient and practical. This room made our stay easy and comfortable.
Karkisia Hôtel is a great place to stay. You have a nice flat with a private balcony with a superbe view.
It s very clean and well maintained.
It s a true hôtel with professionnal staff very kind.
Good place overall, big rooms and a nice terrace with a view over Aegiali bay. You can take a small path between the houses to go there faster (ask the owner).
