The breakfast was quaint and cozy. It's just toast and tea/coffee, but the jam, butter and honey combo were amazing. Also there are boiled eggs. Our room had its own bathroom and we loved it. Very comfortable stay. Location was perfect. We walked to the shrine to watch the yagura performance like 5 minutes away walking. Then we went to the gorge the next day, which was just a couple minute drive. The view from the room was beautiful!

Loved how close it was to the Iwato shrines. I got up at 6am with an easy 6 minute walk to the shrines and then a 6 minute walk to the Amaterasu cave
