Squamish
The Squamish Adventure Inn hostel places guests only moments away from Squamish’s activities, adventure, and excitement. It is located directly off the Sea-to-Sky Highway, only 8 minutes walk away from the shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars of Squamish city centre. Very well organised facility. I stayed in a hotel-style double room with ensuite, and it was excellent. I also used the communal kitchen and dining area, and chatted with the many friendly hostel guests and staff. I was skiing in Whistler most days, and able to walk 10 minutes on the path beside the inlet up to the Adventure Centre and back to catch the SkyLynx shuttle bus that operates from Vancouver to Squamish to Whistler. This worked out much better value than staying in Whistler. The same path is a 10 minute walk into downtown Squamish in the other direction, to supermarkets, restaurants and other stores. All in all, this was an excellent stay.

Always great staff! Reasonable price if you don't mind being up late. Great location to be, so, though! Clean, comfortable and safe.
Good location, cheap stay in Vancouver. The beds were comfy and having rooms of four people allowed for a more quiet night than at other hostels with larger rooms.
This was a great option for myself and kids during our BC trip. We enjoyed the family friendly activities nearby: family fun park and Cultis waterpark. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and the home is beautiful. Our host was gracious and friendly. The bunk beds made for a perfect movie night. Thank you!
I thought this was a good budget option with a lot of advantages, namely the comfortable rooms with plenty of storage space and a large desk for working or studying, the very efficient cleaning regime which meant all the communal areas were always clean and tidy, and the campus location which was safe and pleasant with quite a few low-key eateries and a couple of grocery stores nearby. The beaches and botanical gardens very close by were a nice bonus.
Great location (close to port and train). Quite a few undesirables in the area (especially at night) might concern some guests, but is not the hotels fault. If this was a $15 hostel in southeast asia, it would be around a 6.5/10, but at $150
Great location and nice bar at the hostel to meet people. Huge rooms.
