Very easy to get to by public transport. Always snow in Mayrhofen. Very convenient for gondolas up the mountain. Lots of ski hire places which are quick and efficient (no hanging around). With the skipass Zillertall you have access to 5 skiresorts. Depending on the weather, you can choose where to ski. All are located close to each other and less then 20 minutes by car. All the resorts have free parking available and the parkings are close to the skilifts. Mayrhoven is a nice town, with lots of restaurants, bars, shops,,,

Stayed at Neuhaus Zillertal Resort Hotel. Lovely accommodation, friendly and helpful staff. Nice town with a number of good restaurants and shops. Frequent buses serve the entire area and Penkenbahn gondola which delivers you to a vast ski area is just 5 minutes away.

The breakfast was basic but of great quality, lovely staff and the modern wellness area was a great addition to our vacation. We liked the location of the hotel as it is in a quiet area but walking distance from the town center and the ski lifts are easily reached by the skibus that stops in front of the hotel. Overall great value for money and would highly recommend!

The staff is very friendly, sincere and helpful. Rooms were very clean and modern. Quite various and delicious options for breakfast. The location is also pretty central. Short walk distance from Penkenbahn, but if you don't want to walk there's also a skibus stop in 2 min walk from the hotel. Overall, price-value ratio is exceptional! I highly recommend this hotel, and will definitely come back again :)
