The family-run Gasthof Tauernalm is located at 5.5 feet above sea level and offers direct views of the Großglockner, Austria's highest mountain. Located directly at the Großglockner High Alpine Road 1312 feet above Heiligenblut, Gasthof Tauernalm is a starting point for hiking tours in summer. In winter, this inn is located right by the Tauernberg T-bar elevator, which takes you to the ski area. The traditional restaurant serves homemade delicacies and local specialties.
