This is a motel with single story rooms looking onto the car park and out onto the golf course. It was interesting to see the golfers out on the greens in action first thing in the morning. You can get evening meals in the gold restaurant, a 5 minute walk away, on Thursday through Saturday evenings but not other days; you get 10% off the restaurant meals if you show your room key. The room was spacious, clean and with a nice king-size bed. The kitchenette was fine for making breakfast. Parking was outside the room and there was a laundry room if you needed that. When we were there the motel had some problems with the wifi but they said they were in the process of getting it fixed. There were also problems with the hot water but again they said it was a temporary problem. The staff were friendly and helpful. If you arrive after 6pm then you’re told which your room is yours and where to find the key.

The room was in immaculate clean condition. The bed was extremely comfortable including the bedding. The shower had amazing hot water & pressure. The tv was a really good size for the room and was nice to relax in a comfortable bed and watch Netflix of a night. Great location, felt safe & secure. Was a fantastic prize!

    While staying at Rosebud it's within reasonable distance to many interesting places. Nothing is more than an 30 minute drive. Sorrento is really nice with good shopping and eating options and of course the beach. Red Hill is good with it's choices of wineries to experience. We really enjoyed The Green Olive winery, beautiful grounds and family friendly. We ate at the Rosebud Hotel, always good value and plenty to chose from. Another night we went to Nora's restaurant in Rye. Only a short drive and the pasta was amazing.

    Spa has been removed but signage still left on back door, disappointing. *Positives are nice new modern bathrooms,lots of utensils,/crockery etc,comfortable beds. Negatives- Too pricey for what we got,it was in the middle of Suburbia which a car was needed to go to shops. No welcome pack or milk for a cuppa on arrival. All Toilet roll holders not added. No insulation very noisy upstairs for bottom bedroom sleepers. Outdoor setting old tarnished & torn seats. Buffet cabinet no drawer handles,found in top dry but won’t stay in holes. Wouldn’t stay there again.

    Absolutely nothing against the Motel admin staff but...

    Absolutely nothing against the Motel admin staff but security is a big thing in accomodation nowadays. We experienced no one available on site OR contactable by phone in any way or form. The whole scenario was frightening.

    It was a wonderful location.

    It was a wonderful location. The apartment was very clean and tidy and everything that was outlined in the promotional. The balcony was large and had beach front views. The car parking was under the building with easy access to the apartment and all facilities. I would highly recommend this apartment.

    One of the few "on the bay" towns that hasn't gone overboard...

    One of the few "on the bay" towns that hasn't gone overboard with high risers, cheap apartment style accommodation and a Big Mac/Hungry Jack or KFC on every corner. Beautiful restaurants, clean uncrowded beaches, beautiful water to wade/swim in and still close enough to all of the stunning attractions the Mornington Peninsula has to offer. A good one to add for the quick getaway or after the crowds have gone back to school.

    We made the right choice for 3 adults and enjoyed our stay at Fairways resort….it was pleasantly to our expectations re: photos shown, spacious and clean…we had fresh clean towels etc daily…and facilities met all our basic needs. Thank you We had a great lunch of curry and seafood marinara at rosebud country club restaurant which was just a short walk away :)

    We had a great stay at this property. The host was very responsive, replying to my communications promptly and politely. The house is clean with modern fittings and very comfy beds. The location is q 5 mins drive to the beach and Rosebud Plaza- the local shopping centre, 10 minutes from Peninsula Hot Springs and close to other towns including Dromana, McCrae, and Rye. The kitchen is well appointed with everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

    First of all, the property manager, Mr. Neal is a very very nice, welcoming and caring gentleman who has a GREAT sense of humour which we all loved! He runs a fantastic accommodation in Rosebud, Admiral Motor Inn. The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable! The staff we met there are very kind and helpful! ❤️
