A pleasant small town even in winter with enjoyable seasonal lights along the river and downtown. A relaxed friendly atmosphere in all the stores and restaurants/cafes we visited. Interesting older buildings in some of the local neighbourhoods.

I liked Stratford Festival, itself, friendly staff, gardens around, and
naturally I greatly enjoyed shows.
I liked little place, called Soup Surreal, very cozy, Stratford Thai Cuisine, and Bowl something, sorry, can not remember now.
I travelled easy all across town with city bus, drivers very friendly and helpful.
I do not think of anything, I would avoid.

Always a great visit.
Always a great visit. We go almost every year and see two plays each time and have yet to be disappointed. Stratford is great place to relax, have good food and quite evenings. Don't miss the Stratford Perth Museum, a great learning experience about Stratford! If you have a bit of extra time visit Saint Marys. And, if you like Indian cuisine don't miss Raja Fine Indian Cuisine.

Stratford Festival offers excellent theater with many different musicals and plays to choose from. We enjoyed the talk with the plays director. Beautiful town with wonderful views and gardens around the Avon river.
This place exceeded our expectations! The suite was comfortable and the hosts thought of everything to make the room comfy and inviting. Martin met us when we arrived and helped bring our luggage up to our room, gave us a quick tour of the building/our suite and even recommended some great places to eat which turned out to be fantastic. Although we had our car, we were able to walk everywhere we needed and wanted to go. Overall I highly recommended Evanndor, and we would definitely stay there again when we visit Stratford.
Big place with tons of room to spread out in. Not even close to what I expected. I assumed we would get three hotel rooms strung together, not a place you could actually live comfortably in. I had my wife, daughter, and her two teenage kids with me for a weekend of Shakespeare, and the place was so comfortable that there was none of the usual feeling of being on top or each other. Three genuine bedrooms and the master was better than most bedrooms at home.
What a pleasant surprise the Edison's Inn was on our anniversary stay. We came from Waterloo, ON, so we just needed a 1 night stay after a late Stratford Play. The owner and staff were wonderful in helping me plan a great weekend, with excellent dinner and breakfast recommendations. Location is perfect! The room was modern, clean and funky. We really appreciated the efficient self check-in too. Would highly recommend!
The accommodations were beautiful and very comfortable. I particularly loved the seating area, with big windows and a comfy spot to sit, read and drink coffee (which was available in the room!). It was so close to the main strip, and the water - perfect location. Finally, the host shared incredibly valuable information prior to arriving about Stratford, so that we could plan a lovely weekend away.
Ilya and Bruce are fantastic hosts on their historic stunning property just a few minutes drive from the action in Stratford. They treated us so very kindly. Very personable people, clean quiet room with everything we could need. Breakfast was enjoyed overlooking the back gardens, expansive property and pond. I highly recommend Koch Haus B&B.
The hosts are phenomenal and are well informed about the shows in Stratford. They gave excellent recommendations for food, made reservations and were more than generous with their time and efforts. The breakfast was delicious and home cooked each morning. When we return to Stratford, we hope to stay here again.
The hotel has been extensively renovated and updated while maintaining the historic character of the building. The bed was very comfortable. I appreciated having a refrigerator in the room. The hotel is conveniently located near all the downtown shops and is within walking distance of the theatres.
Breakfast included some wonderful farmfresh eggs, apple juice, banana bread and homemade jam. It was real treat to stay in an historic house in a rural area just outside Stratford. Bruce and Ilya were extremely friendly and interesting hosts. I would highly recommend to others.
Very convenient to shops, restaurants, and the Stratford theatres. Very nicely decorated art pieces with local references. Nice view at back of River. Very quiet. Nice touch with the window air conditioning- we needed it in September! Thanks.
The motel was extremely clean. Rooms are quite spacious. The location was convenient to downtown Stratford and was very affordable. Had the weather been better we would have used the pool which was also sparkling clean and very inviting.
A lovely B&B with a beautiful garden, just minutes away from Stratford’s theatre district. The breakfast was excellent and the hosts were very gracious and accommodating. Will visit again next time we’re in Stratford!
lovely and very clean; great pool and gazebo. Coffee and muffins in the morning (self-serve). Staff was kind and very helpful. It's very easy to find, coming from Toronto area, before we reached Stratford.
Staff were amazing, room was beautiful. Hotel is in a great location, restaurants near by, and some stores that are all walking distance. Located near a square that does events every weekend
I liked the very spacious rooms. The friendliness of all the staff. Food in the restaurant was excellent. The location of the hotel was convenient to everything in Stratford
Great location close to Stratford yet in the country. Beautiful rooms, delicious breakfast and friendly hosts. We have stayed there before and will do so again.
Nice rooms surrounded by a lush garden with multiple water features. Friendly hosts and a delicious breakfast. Made our first time in Stratford very special.
