Very good access from the highway but no grocery store.
Very good access from the highway but no grocery store. There was a very small coffee maker that didn't work which was ridiculous. The room was very well laid out with the beds in two parts. The towels were yellow and the sink smelled bad until morning. There was a big stain on the carpet that we reported to the motel clerk. When we checked out, the clerk had closed the door before 11 and we walked around the building where the housekeeper told us that he closes the door during prayer. Nursing home where we visited our aunt was “top shelf”! Visited friends and family in lower Woodstock, so this was a convenient place for us to stay. If you want a decent restaurant in Woodstock with delightful staff, excellent prices, and well-prepared food, choose "Walter's Table" (not fancy but otherwise great). For a tavern with good food, there's "The River Restaurant"; but do NOT go to the "Full Moon" (outrageous prices for nothing special).
