The Inn grounds were extraordinary from the amazing gardens to the pond and waterfalls in the creek. So many cozy nooks to sit in to read a book or have a glass of wine. We enjoyed the location outside of town as it was so quiet and private. The hosts were attentive, friendly and saw to your every need. Our room was beautiful and spotless.
Took advantage of the wonderful soaker tub. Breakfast was excellent and loved all the homemade touches and use of fruit/berries on the property.

There are lots of quaint shops, cafes and restaurants. There is a public library in case you need a place to hang out for awhile on a rainy day. The market takes place on Saturdays. There is a great games store (Foxes) if you want to pick something up to play with the family while in town. There are a couple of thrift stores in case you need to pick up any extra clothing items that you don't necessarily want to bring home.
Be aware of the hours for the restaurants. We were surprised to arrive on a Friday night (late April) to discover that a number of pizza places were closed.

Ganges is an interesting small town on a beautiful island.
Ganges is an interesting small town on a beautiful island. The people are open and welcoming and the prices are still manageable. With all the wonderful local produce and products we hoped the cuisine would be slightly better and there would be more choices. The Saturday market is a great addition to the excitement of the island.

Ganges has a number of restaurants and coffee shops but in many cases hours are somewhat limited (likely due to staff shortages at this time). There is plenty going on (including the busy Saturday market) as well as a variety of outdoor activities available to warrant a 3 day or longer stay. We have stayed in or near Ganges a number of times, and plan to return at least once each year, hopefully more.
The whole B&B is thoughtfully and beautifully presented. Our room was perfectly clean, the bed and linens were divinely comfortable, and the reservable private sauna and hot tub are a special perk! Breakfast was incredible, and Michelle accommodated our dietary restrictions while serving a hearty and delicious meal in a lovely dining space. Very walkable to and from the heart of Ganges.
This place was magical! Such a gorgeous room with a very comfy bed. Such cute decor too! It was only a short 10/15 minute walk right into the centre of Ganges, so it was a perfect little stroll - nice to be in the nature! Best of both worlds! The breakfast was absolutely delicious! I loved the dining room idea too. It was very cute, and beautifully set up for breakfast!
The breakfast was absolutely delicious and plentiful! The grounds were stunning and we really enjoyed lounging at the pool and playing around in the games room. Stephanie was an amazing host. This place is a true gem and much more special/unique than most hotels we have stayed at. We will definitely be back next year!
We loved the location on the lake, which was just 15 minutes from Ganges. One had the option to canoe, swim and fish in this lake (we just sat on dock and drank wine) You have full cooking facilities in cabin along with supplied firewood if necessary. A perfect place to stay if one wants to getaway from city.
The Inn is a delightful place, full of character and warmth, just like a traditional Inn, and ideally located right in downtown Ganges, walking distance from everything. The staff is lovely, responsive, and helpful. Our room was small but had everything we needed, and was clean and cozy.
Location was handy to Ganges. The suite was self contained and furnishes very well.. Food for breakfast was provided in
the fridge. Very friendly and helpful owners. Included was a nice sunny Patio. Highly recommended
The Host couple were very generous and kind, the gardens and rental suite were almost as beautiful as the ocean view.
We will definitely stay here the next time we are on Salt Spring Island!
Very grateful!!
super welcoming host, really quaint atmosphere, comfortable bed, lovely hot tub. Felt super laid back. Breakfast was great and even catered to my annoying gluten intolerance. Salt spring island rules.
It was easy walking distance to the main area of Ganges and far enough away from the crowds. Very quiet and relaxing location. The breakfast was amazing and the host were great.
Beautiful spot on Salt Spring Island. Host was so kind and we really enjoyed learning about all of the palm trees on the property and in the town. Loved our stay!
Facility is quite lovely. EVerything one would need for a stay away. Salt Springs is beautiful with all the amenities. Enjoyed the time there despite the heat.
