The updates to the room were nice. It had an overall cottage-like feel with the exposed brick. Large, updated bathroom. Upon arrival the room was nice a clean. The staff was also very nice whenever we interacted with them.

Gananoque is always so lovely! It was a little sleepy with not much going on in April (compared to summer). Love Joel Stone park. Fun to check out the flea market, and boutiques. There is a great forested area near the marina we walked in, but no official trails. I wish City cruises took the opportunity to run cruises the weekend we were there (only ran a cruise in eclipse Monday, and following weekend even though a lot of visitors in town this weekend for eclipse). Great indian restaurant (1000 curries) on King street, and enjoyed great sunset views from Muskie Jack Pub.

Wonderful little town.
Wonderful little town. People are friendly and the place is clean. They take great care of their corner of the world. Beautiful facilities and parks. Small downtown had plenty of shops & restaurants, Sidewalks were clear and well kept. We had a great time and will return in the summer when the season is really humming.

The breakfast was inadequate.
The breakfast was inadequate. There were NO cereals and NO fruit. Breakfast came ALL ON ONE PLATE-including the toast! Coffee came IN A MUG!. Tea was hot water in a pot with a teabag sitting on top! I had brought porridge (oatmeal) with me but I wasn't allowed to get it cooked for me, or put it myself into a microwave.

Lovely little town to explore for couple of days.
Lovely little town to explore for couple of days. Scenic location and great walks. Boat trips couple of minutes walk away. Interesting free museum to visit. We were there in mid Sept and place was very much winding down . Limited choice of boat trips , boat museum closed and many cafes/shops closed.

First and foremost, the natural beauty of Gananoque is simply breathtaking. Nestled amidst the stunning Thousand Islands region, the charm of Gananoque extends beyond its natural wonders. The town itself is a delightful blend of historic architecture, quaint shops, and friendly locals. One of the standout experiences in Gananoque is, of course, the boat tour through the Thousand Islands. Cruising through these emerald waters while learning about the history and folklore of the area is an unforgettable adventure. In conclusion, my visit left me with cherished memories.

Incredible waterfront and beach, artsy downtown with nice restaurants historic feel good shopping and parks. Cute marina. Bike friendly, lots to do. Good coffee. Good place to bring kids. Hiking trails around town, lots of public washrooms. Would definitely go back with kids in summer. The beach is tiny but beautiful with playground, washrooms. Splash pad and soft sand.
Mid October the window was open and air condition on as we enter the room. With Covid we knew their could be alternative set up for breakfast but to the extent that we were offered 3 selections of breakfast and had to heat it up in the microwave in our room. We were in the quality in in Victoriaville QC on October 6 and based on the great set up offered to us we did not hesitate to book again with Quality In. In the future we will by pass this hotel
The breakfast was great, pub/restaurant also had great food. Gananoque Boat tours could not have been closer, just a skip and hop away approx 3 minutes walk. Stonewater is very Rustic which gives it it's character. We stayed in the Loft (Attic part) Very well done but beware of peaked ceilings hahaha especially if you are taller. Would definately return!!!!
Location was ok,I would have preferred being at the water downtown but that’s probably not possible water front is not available, I also prefer a balcony , but putting that aside the hotel is lnew and clean all good it’s what I expected from a modern holiday Inn, price was crazy hi because of the weekend tourist location and poker run was on $325 per night!
The breakfast was amazing, couldn't have asked for a nicer breakfast, it was really delicious. The location is perfect.
It is a beautiful old house with beautiful antiques in it. The rooms are something you would find in a five star hotel .
Well worth staying in it.
The location of the hotel is probably the best in Gananoque. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Food at Muskie Jacks was really good and we appreciated the complimentary dessert and breakfast. We’d definitely come back another time.
The location was conveniently located close to Gananoque, the 1000 islands national park and Rockport. Very quiet and a view of the river from the rooftop patio.
The breakfast was great and the staff, very friendly. Our room was big and clean.
Awesome people...double booked ..so the owner booked me a room accross the street...totally shocked me..what nice honest people..wow..id recommend big time...they are what innkeepers should be these days...thank u
Clean, nicely located along the parkway where we wanted to bike, and the breakfast was made to order in the morning. Lots of choice including freshly made eggs or omelettes and pancakes. Service was top notch!
Stayed only for 1 night on our way from Toronto to Montreal after a wonderful river cruise. Large rooms, comfortable beds. There are some restaurants and cafes walking distance to the hotel.
The location is good, even though couple hundred meters away from "downtown".
Room is spacious and illuminating as it uses pot lights.
The sound-proof is good compared to most of the inns.
The breakfast was good, hand cooked by the owners of the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable.
The staff was accommodating and very friendly. Reasonably priced for one night stay.
This is a beautiful inn, set in lovely grounds, minutes from downtown Gananoque. The innkeepers and staff were gracious and helpful. We particularly enjoyed the back patio.
great location. Peter and Colin were great hosts with lots of useful tips. Breakfast was wonderful! Would definitely stay there again, the next time we’re in Gananoque
Lovely B&B in Gananoque, perfect place to discover the 1000 Islands region. Nathalie was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a great breakfast on the patio.
