The Mountain View’s from the bedroom balcony are exceptional, as are the spa facilities. This is a great stay for the whole family.

Excellent quality breakfast. Fresh and flavorful food. Excellent coffee. A bit later than expected (0830) but it made us slow down a bit which was great.

Located in the center of the village. Quaint hotel, has been well renovated. Staff is very welcoming, the rooms well appointed. There is no restaurant but a few excellent ones very close. Breakfast was very good. They had an afternoon tea with cakes that very appreciated. The hotel felt very homey

We stayed for six days in Champery in January for skiing in Portes-du-Soleil. The ski resort is huge. We were able to never do the same run and lift three days in a row. Champery is a historic Suisse alpine village with nicely presented shops, bars and restaurants. Expect to spend approx +30% in Switzerland on everything - especially food. Be prepared that some shops take only cash and impose any cash withdrawal fees on you.

Champery is a quiet, pretty little Swiss village on the edge of a stunning ski area. There is ample choice of small restaurants in the village and once you are up the mountain (via chairlift or telepherique) you have access to one of the largest lifted ski areas in the world.
If the snow is not great, there is actually very little to do in the village in winter, so keep that in mind.

If you like alpine hiking, then I highly recommend going to Champery for a couple of days. The hikes up both sides of the valley from town are really nice - epic views, with steep trails that will really give you a good workout. The town itself is compact, and pretty lively (there was a "Jazz and Wine" event throughout town one evening I was there). There also are plenty of active things to do, including e-mountain biking, a rope park, paragliding, etc. Overall, a lovely place for a short alpine get-away.
This hotel delivers on its 3* Supreme rating. The main hotel itself and the rooms are rather basic, but everything is very well looked after and clean. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The WiFi was robust during my stay. What makes this hotel stand out is the very nice spa area, which has a jacuzzi, sauna, steam room, cold bath and a "floating bath". The hotel is located on the main "tourist" street of town, so right next to plenty of bars and restaurants.
The location is fantastic perched on the edge of the mountain with many mountain bike and hiking trails around the hotel. No need to buy a ticket for the cable car as it is included in the price of the accommodation - you just tell the ticket office in Chambery and go straight onto the cablecar. The evening meal is a fixed menu but the food was delicious and well presented. Staff were without exception fantastic.

Excellent location, in the center of the village, just a small walk up from the cable car and train station.
We could park for free by the entrance of the hotel.
The room was big and nicely decorated, the bathroom was modern and big.
The choice for breakfast was ample and very good quality.
The location was great, the staff were kind and helpful, and the hotel had good facilities for a 3-star hotel. The added bonus of a spa, complimentary evening tea, and complimentary passes for regional activities made my stay even more enjoyable. I will definitely return to this hotel.
Great relaxing location in the mountain, amazing views and atmosphere. The staff were nice and friendly, room clean and tidy and good attention to detail in the rest of the hotel. The breakfast was also great! The best experience in Switzerland and exactly what we were looking for.
Spacious apartment. kitchen has oven and hob but no microwave. Views are spectacular. 5-10min walk to Champery village high street. Further to the gondola (we didn’t walk it but I would estimate 15 mins down and maybe 20 min walk back up (assuming you have skis to carry))
Location can't get any better in Champery - it's right next to the cable car, the shop and the train station.
Apartment is very well equipped with everything you may need in the kitchen. They also provide a variety of games.
Very friendly staff, very well-designed room with everything you need within reach. Comfortable bed. Mountain View was spectacular. We didn’t try the hotel’s restaurant but the little town nearby has good restaurants.
Kelly and David and the other staff we so welcoming. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, especially the new ice cream menu. Its a gem in a remote corner of Switzerland, with superb access to hiking trails.
From the hotel manager to the room cleaners, all the staff were as friendly and helpful as possible. The spa is small but well-maintained, and with the outdoor pool temp of 30degC, we swam in the snow.
directly on the slope. ascetic style, yet very comfortable and clean. very kind staff and nice food. the best is attirude. i seldomly give 10 out of 10. this is a case. we shall return!!!
This is the second time we visit this amazing hotel and it gets better and better! From the staff to the rooms and the spa, everything is flawless and staying here is a real pleasure
Great staff, cosy, authentic ski chalet, good breakfast & nice views. Charming church bells ringing in the village, popular bar des guides next door to the hotel entrance.
It was rustic and located perfectly for me. The host was really patient and friendly. It is best to say that I was looking for something simple and comfortable.
