The Hosts had great english and provided a free upgraded room for my stay with a view. The cook could make a variety of Chinese or western dishes. Breakfast was included in the stay. There are beautiful walking trails around the property. Really a great find!

This was the perfect place to adventure around the Karst Peaks and Yangshuo. Plenty of restaurants nearby, but we could have just enjoyed our room the whole time if we wanted - so relaxing and will situated, incredible view, and wonderful staff. The dumbwaiter is an especially charming touch!

I liked the tranquility of the resort and even when crowded, you can still find peaceful spots on the property. I liked how most of the staff went our their way to make our stay comfortable and try to fulfill all our wishes. My son enjoyed the ponds and breakfast with peacocks! It was truly a blissful sight. I'd like to thank Ian for bringing our in room dining--super charming guy! I'd like to thank the chef (maybe Martin is his name) he always was helpful and most of all Rhianna for the nice hospitality! !

Wonderful “homestyle” inn. Loved the big, spacious room and wood furniture. Loved the little restaurant down the street, where we had delicious -cooked-to-order soup at dinner and traditional Chinese breakfast with fried dough sticks dipped in rice milk.

Nirvana Organic Farm exceeded our expectations! It’s located slightly outside of the Xingping town so really quiet with a great rooftop for star gazing! The rooms are also very clean and we loved the organic garden with many vegetables that we had there for dinner! The hostesses were also so friendly and we went sunrise trekking with them! We will be back for sure!

Amazing scenery. Definitely get out on a bike or electric scooter and go along the footpath next to the river.
The evening light show is amazing and definitely worth going to, but it is expensive and, be warned, nearly all the spectators (a few thousand of them) will be on their phones and talking very loudly throughout the whole performance.
West Street at night is worth seeing once. It is slightly tacky, but in a pretty way.
Silver cave is very pretty and you get a free headset in English (presumably other languages too). I can't believe that Reed Flute caves in Guilin are better, yet they are a lot more expensive.

Nice "little city" and a good base to see Xingping, the Silver Cave, Ruyi Peak and of course the cormorants (in Xingping). I'd love to have done Xianggong Hill. Most tourists do one of the two shows but I watched bits of the video and thought, not for me due to our limited time. I think 2 dinners in West Street might have added a bonus. Oh, try to get your Didi working.

I think Yangshou shines the best when you are trying off the beaten path things: climbing, caveing, trying local food (not just Kung Pao chicken, come on) and renting a scooter.
I'm genuinely impressed by the environment, people and abundance of culture of Yangshuo.
I tried a lot of local delicacies including oil tea 油茶,snail noodles 螺蛳粉 and beer fish. Definitely something you won't be able to try anywhere else. I liked first two, not the last one :)
I loved exploring surroundings via scooter, it is such a nice thing. And you have a chance to enjoy superb infrastructure of China. You won't believe me if I tell you that Yangshuo has highways with both motor- and bike- lanes. Simply amazing.
I recommend trying outdoor climbing and even caveing. There are many great spots (ask your hotel host, they should be able to tell you).
Come and enjoy.

For me, I went to Yangshuo for a relaxing getaway and that's just what I got. I don't know when the last time I have been this relaxed. I have friends who go there for rock-climbing and go a few times per year. The city is not very big so you don't need a lot of time going from place to place. I would advise to stay somewhere outside the city, like, within 5-6 kilometers and just rent a scooter. Actually, riding the scooter helped me get familiar with the city a lot better. And it's a form of meditation in and of itself, offering a bit of concentration as I got some sun on my face and cool wind in my hair.

Yangshuo is one of the prettiest parts of China in our opinion. The beauty of the Karst mountains is stunning and never bored us. The diversity of the mountains is a real treat for the eye. There are plenty of activities around like caving, climbing Moon hill, bamboo rafting the yulong river, exploring the environment on a rental scooter (¥30,- a day) or even helicopter and hot air balloon rides! Don't miss out on the local beer fish, a dish famous for a reason! Dine at Yangshuo Mountain retreat (the Brew) for the best tranquil dinner ever! Have lunch at 'Moon Hill restaurant' before or after climbing the mountain. The restaurant is located right next to the entry of the hill. Amazing view while eating local food. Take a few hours to visit the cable car, glass bridge and view platform of Ruyi park, lovely as well.

Yangshuo is located in the midst of a beautiful and tropical karst Mountain landscape and there are plenty of attractions ranging from caves to cable cars and tea plantations around, but the town itself is highly commercialised and most businesses cater to domestic package tourists.
Hotel stuff was amazing, room was cleaned and set up every time we went out. Breakfast was amazing, they even managed to fix it earlier when we asked them. Ginger tea is a must try. Room is cozy, great view over pool, river and mountains. Heated bed is perfect for cold nights. Quiet and relaxing vacation here. You can rent a bike nearby if you feel like it or 15m walk to center. Demo cafe on the way is superb. Overall a hotel that we plan to stay more than once in the future.
Everything was perfect. Starting with the ladies at the front desk. They were just amazing. They spoke English (which is rare in China, even at hotels), and they did everything possible to help us. We had a room upgrade and they let us have a late check out at 16h00.
The hotel also has a restaurant with good western food at a good price. We ended up eating there everyday. The pool is also clean and very relaxing to be at.
Can't recommend this hotel enough.
Exceptionally helpful staff, beautiful and well maintained property, and great wifi. I had an incredible time at the retreat, the staff helped me set up tours and make the most of my time in Yangshuo. Everyone went above and beyond to create a relaxing atmosphere. I also had work to do and was pleased with their excellent wifi, had no trouble at all with video conferencing. I strongly recommend a stay here and will absolutely go back.
Hotel is away from main area yet it is convenient as you can just take a water taxi across for only 3 yuan or just 3 mins ride and that will bring you to town. Once we crossed over to the main street, we can just walk to the west end shopping area . There are also some restaurants near this hotel. After staying for 3 nights, we got used to the area and uite enjoy this little cute nice hotel. It is quite nicely decorated as well.
Nice cozy room with good view and comfortable bed. Best location because it is central but also quiet even despite the fact that there is a restaurant operating. You get to have a good quality restaurant at the location and also a very nice coffee shop next to your hotel. Everything else is a few steps away and the hotel can arrange any activity for you, from renting an e-bike to going for bamboo rafting etc.
This gem of a homestay is conveniently located perfectly in central Yangshuo. Opposite Moon Hill, this hotel provides great comfort and lovely views from the restaurant. The girls who run the property are lovely and will assist you in your every need. The hotel provides a great array of breakfast choices and a mixture of Italian and Chinese food for dinner (I would recommend the local beer fish).
Wonderful hotel in a great location with very kind and nice staff, quiet and comfortable rooms, and extremely helpful manager to whom I'd like to express my special thanks for sharing the beautiful scenic locations and giving very useful suggestions on our traveling around Yangshuo! And the painting master class for our daughter was amazing and unforgettable!!!
My friend introduced, very nice hotel, just by the Li River, the view is very good, the food in the restaurant is also very good, the room is clean, sitting in the lobby door looking at the Li River and the mountains, drinking coffee, very casual. Also close to West Street and the pool was fantastic
this place was amazing and cheap. also so near to city center. for my next holiday I would like to visit yangshuo city and want to stay in room has a balcony. I already miss you Lily (hostel owner), I really want to go yangshuo again and stay in this guest house again . ❤️❤️

Also they have a great team in the kitchen providing a wide selection of yummy food!
The hotel is located in perfectly quiet and beautiful area as you want to avoid downtown yangshuo
The location is very nice, in a quiet side of Yangshuo and not that far from town. DiDi always been less than two minutes to find. The resort is really nice and well kept. The swimming pool is perfect if not too many customers.
Very clean and very gentle staff
Jenny and her team were super helpful in arranging many transports and great activities as well as flexible when schedule needed to be changed due to the bad weather. Fan painting on the hotel front terrace was a high point for all the family. Thanks again !
The service was amazing. Flower at reception was the best I've come across in China in many, many years of living here.
The chef/food/menu here is incredible.
The pool is fantastic.
They are so friendly and helpful here, it's awesome!
Helpful, friendly staff. Clean rooms. Cheap scooter rental. Pool with an amazing view. A fridge well stocked with beers. I could go on and on. The best hostel I've ever stayed in in China, perhaps in the world. Thanks for an awesome stay!
We traveled in China for 2 weeks and stayed in this hotel for 1 night. The food was the best during the whole vacation in this hotel!
You can go cycling around the city, take a bamboo raft ride and relax and eat
beautiful small and cute hotel in a good location near Yangshuo town. it’s our 3th time here. Quite with amazing views. the staff is nice and helpful. everything in Tea Cozy is simple oerfect.

The location is perfect and the place is very clean.
The location is great. Lots of activities for kids and fun for all ages. The food at the hotel was fabulous. I highly recommend having a barbecue night on the lawn.
