It's the garden city of China. The streets are so clean.
It's the garden city of China. The streets are so clean. People are chill and friendly. Not many people speak English but if you ask the young people most of them will understand basic English, and people are more than willing to help you out in general. West Lake is usually very busy, but once you go to the west side of the lake, it gets very zen.

Great city for great quality and cheap fashion!
Great city for great quality and cheap fashion! West Lake was beautiful and Song Cheng Park was a great place to visit albeit with a pricey price of admission. Sijiqing is the go-to place for fashion (men and women) without a doubt. Wulin is also a good place to visit for the night market food stalls.

Hangzhou West Lake area is understandably famous amongst...
Hangzhou West Lake area is understandably famous amongst Chinese as a getaway destination. We stayed on the western side of West Lake, probably the best part. Luscious forested area quite unlike any other part of China we visited. The rest of the city that we saw was pleasant too though more typically Chinese roads and traffic. However even that was a pleasant surprise here. Almost all scooters are electric and many cars including about half the taxis. This makes for a much quieter country than usual in Asia and much better air quality than we expected. Also worth noting is using Alipay for payments. Now available in English and you can attach your foreign credit card and works fine. The app also includes the Didi taxi / ride share app giving all the option on one screen. Finds your location well and accepts destinations in English. Taxis are cheap and reliable. No attempts at all to scam on price or route in China.
The apartment was comfortable and cozy. The location was great for viewing the west lake scenic areas. A short bike ride away from the west lake show. We went to the city for food, but when we checked Dianping found there were some very interesting vegetarian restaurants close to the hotel, so would recommend these over traveling to the city. We were very thankful that the staff rushed us a take away breakfast when we had to check out early to catch out train! Very sweet. Also the resident ginger cat was very cute!
Perfect location in the old tourist area of Hangzhou. mountain park with temple is nearby good for walking. open heart and hospitable owner. nice two cats for atmosphere. quiet and cosy place with nice guest. waking street so no any traffic noice. but should find car park if you travel by car. the nearest car park is not cheap 120rmb per day. better find some free or other part is not so fat 64 per day. Chinese spring festival will not have free parking lots.
The establishment was amazing! Large room with a practical, common sense layout and luxuriously appointed.
The location was perfect at the airport which meant I didn’t have to walk far from the terminal to the hotel and then on to the railway metro service.
The concierge staff were very friendly, polite and professional with great customer focus.
Breakfast was also fantastic with a sizeable spread of options in a very comfortable environment.
It has a very cosy atmosphere, and it was surrounded by parks and lakes. The 20-30 min walk from the hotel to West lake is so relaxing and lovely! Breakfast is nice and to my liking (Chinese breakfast). We got the room on ground floor which is good as we do not like to climb the stairs. Reception ladies are helpful and kind. There is food options across the road from the hotel - we liked the Lanzhou food stall there very much!
The location was lovely, peaceful and their was lots to do near by. A short walk to great restaurants, temples, mountain hikes and so on. What made the stay special was the staff at the hotel, the manager was very welcoming and went above and beyond. The room was very cute and cozy and had a good view. A relaxing countryside stay in a traditional village. I would go back.
The hotel location in a great。 It only takes a few minutes to walk to West Lake and the ancient street, and it is also very close to the subway. The subway can reach the international airport. The hotel staff are very friendly and can introduce and communicate in English, which provides convenience for foreign guests。
Exceptional service staff at the reception. It is not easy to navigate in China as a foreigner (we encountered, for instance, problems with booking taxi), but the staff at the reception went above and beyond to render help. Truly very grateful, and we have a good memory of a hotel that is otherwise relatively ordinary.
The hotel is close (15 min walk) to Hangzhou East Railway Station, making it ideal for early morning travellers. The subway is also conveniently located making it easy to get around the city. The area has developed quite a bit to include clothing shops and restaurants nearby.
Amazing! The staff is so kind and friendly. The environment is perfect for travel. The amenities are so modern and new. I strongly recommend this place. My favorite hostel in china 🇨🇳 and one of the best in the world for me.
The hotel location is very convenient being 2 minutes walk from T4. The staff is amazing and very helpful specially Fancy from the front desk who always smile.
Highly recommended if you’re flying from and to Hangzhou.
It's a boutique hotel which has a nice room design. It's rather quiet in the night despite being a refurnished building not specifically built for hotel stay and located besides a busy (daytime) road.
The owner was very accommodating and friendly and offered free fruit, tea and even goes out of his way to prepare a more western style breakfast when non Chinese guests stay in the hotel.
Location is ok, need to walk a little to the nearest sopping mall. Breakfast has a good spread, selection. The hotel provides washing machine at the basement, it's convenient.
To me, the cleanliness and brightness of the bathroom is an indication of the standard of the hotel. Which this hotel has. Room is tidy and clean as well. No musky smell.
